A+ Buffet Mongolian Grill — Restaurant in Omaha

Nope, never again!!!!! The only reason I even rated them was so I could write the review. So we went at lunch time right when they first opened, thinking we were going to get the freshest and hottest food that hasn't been picked over before the next round is brought out. And we got the opposite. The Mongolian grill's meat was thawed so I didnt even take my chances on that. Nothing had flavor, some of the chicken to put over rice or noodles was still refrigerator chilled as if it were left overs from the night before and didnt get it microwaved cooked long enough with the fresh stuff, the low-mein noodles were the same with some dryn and crusty pieces and the sweet and sour sauce was like water with food coloring. Hell all the sauces with all the entree chicken options were watery. Service was probably 3.5-4 out of 5. The only time the server showed any interest was when we were leaving and we got a thank you. They sat us quickly but there wasn't hardly anyone there, they did ok keeping the table cleared off. I only eat out 1 time a week and this was extremely disappointing to waste my reset day on food like this.... then on the way home I thought I was going to be sick... thankfully none of us got sick. This place was garbage and wet will never eat there again I have no clue how they have the rating they have because that is honestly why we gave them...

My meal from the Mongolian grill tasted like rancid oil. I don't know if it was the grill itself or the Mongolian/garlic oil that they had on their bar. Either their grill needs majorly cleaned or the oil containers on the bar need to be changed and cleaned and refilled with fresh oil. Second, the beef in my Mongolian grill dish was not hot, but only lukewarm. I do not believe that the person handling the grill cooked the dish long enough. Crab rangoons on the bar were soggy. The food overall did not seem fresh, and the place did not seem that clean. When I came in, they told me the "internet was out" and that I had to pay cash. I should have trusted my gut seeing the way this place looks from the outside, but there were very few options around the Oakview Mall. Was hoping for something moderately healthy and figured the Mongolian grill would be healthier and fresher than the Chinese type dishes on their buffet. Obviously I was wrong, and I do not recommend this restaurant, and I would never return. I could not even eat my dish. I left after two bites because it was disgusting. Also the hot and sour soup on the buffet had no flavor and did not seem fresh. Probably one of the worst hot and sour soups I...

We Came at 11:30 on a Friday afternoon. I expected the food to be hot & the restaurant to be busy as it was approaching lunchtime. The food was warm, definitely NOT hot. Youll fine the same basic selection & quality that you'll find at any other Chinese buffet. Overall, it was Decent food for the money. Not terrible, not great. I'm sure it would have been better if the food and was hot and if items would have been replenished on the buffet line as needed. Instead the staff seemed like to wait until enough items were gone from the buffet line to warrant the effort that it would take to replace or replenish. The Price included a drink so that was great. I will probably return to give it another chance (with a valpack or mail coupon) as it was starting to get more patrons when I left at 12:30 and I saw that (some) attention was being paid to the freshness of the buffet line as I was walking out. I had eaten here 2 years ago at off hours and, again, the buffet quality was poor, getting much better as it got busier.... I hoped that was not the norm but it seems it is. I recommend you ONLY go at peak business hours and watch for their discount coupons...
