Crystal Jade Restaurant — Restaurant in Omaha

We ordered from here for delivery the other day. Husband ordered yam yam chicken extra spicy and I ordered spicy beef and eggplant. We also ordered a beef fried rice for later, a wonton soup and a hot and sour soup.

The hot and sour soup was pretty good. Wonton soup was extremely bland. I had to add soy sauce to get any flavor at all. Disappointing.

Our entrees were all supposed to come with rice. We didn't get any at all. The beef fried rice came in a small to go container. It had zero flavor and like 2 strips of egg and 3 pieces of green onion. Completely boring and certainly not worth the money they charged for it. My spicy beef and eggplant was actually very good. There was not much eggplant in it, and the menu on the delivery service made no mention that there was an assortment of other vegetables in it, but it was spicy and tasted good. Wow, having that rice we didn't get would have made it way better. Husbands yam yam chicken tasted good but was not spicy at all even though he requested extra spice. He added some cayenne at home to make it spicier and that helped. He liked it ok. Food outside of the wonton soup and the beef fried rice, which is a ripoff, was good. We could not call them because it was late when we ordered and they were closed when we got the food. We would consider eating here again. I would probably order the beef and eggplant again and hope I got some rice with it. Not sure hubby would want to...

I would never go here again... it was definitely the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant I placed a to go order and when I came to pick it up it still wasn’t ready after 40 min and when I was driving home I started to think I had 2 drinks where are they so I look in the back-sit of my car and I see both of my drinks spilling from a paper bag onto my leather seats and on my 300 school book they decided it would be a good idea to put drinks in a paper bag instead of just handing me the cups so I drove back to the restaurant and I ask to speak to a manager when the manager come to the front I told him what happened and he started to yell at me saying it was my fault instead of saying sorry and giving 2 more drink then he prosecuted threatened me with calling the cops and he trying to hold my car door shut so I pushed him out the way then he took pictures of my license plate. I was doordashing and watched one of the woman working being incredible rude to two blind customers. I've never wrote a review before but the obvious ableism was crazy. When they first came in all the staff sat there and didn't make a sound, I had to be the one to help them find the desk to order. Then she kept pressuring them to order and interrupting the audio reading the menu (app on their phones). The young woman ordering had a bit of a speech impediment and the server was incredible rude about it. When they finished ordering the worker held out her hand and got mad at the customers for not seeing her hand. Once again they are blind. When they asked to sit down to eat she looked around the room and paused for a good 15 seconds. There was many seats there only 3 tables were taken. She didn't treat anyone this way before or after these blind customers. I can't speak for the food but I won't ever try it. Not when they treat...
