I wish I could give zero stars but their only saving grace was they gave me a refund. Story time - I ordered a large sheet cake and a 8” strawberry cheesecake cake for my boyfriends party on Saturday. The 8” cake was supposed to be a special surprise for him since it’s his favorite blizzard, and then the large regular sheet cake for the guests. I ordered the cake four days ahead of time to give plenty of time for the order. I confirmed my order several times when it was placed. Cut to the day to pick up the cakes- they were clearly made last minute and they were completely wrong. They switched the cakes! So they made a large strawberry sheet cake and regular 8”. Add insult to injury the blizzard cake wasn’t made right, no cheesecake pieces, no strawberry drizzle, and had the chocolate crunch layer. We accepted the cake because we had a reservation to make and needed cake. Then one of my guests found a HAIR in the cake.
So I call a few days later to complain and explain the situation, lo and behold the cake MANAGER who also made the cakes answers the phone. She ADMITS to knowingly making it wrong and claims she “didn’t have enough time to remake it” and she “put a note on the cakes to tell me they switched them” as if that makes it better. I paid almost $70 for both of these cakes to be wrong and ugly and this “manager” tells me “there is only same-day refunds and the only thing she could do is make me new cakes but I don’t need those”. So she not only denies to make it right, but tells me what I need. I mentioned how I am a former DQ manager and also decorated the cakes and not only that, but at my boyfriends birthday party the CURRENT Millard DQ cake manager sat right behind us and confirmed everything I pointed out.
So eventually -I believe this cake “manger”’s name is Kayley- Kayley talks to another manger and tells me if I bring in my receipt I can get a refund. I don’t know how this lady is in charge of anything, but cake making and customer service are DEFINITELY two things she shouldn’t have any hands in at all. Read moreSaturday evening as we entered and were seen by 3 employees a man was waiting for his order which he did not get because the coupon he had had some kind of fine print that didn't allow the discount he was hoping for. As we stood there for another couple of minutes and still not greated by any one of the 3employees standing there, I finally took it upon myself to call out to one of them and asked if we could order. The girl that came from behind the wall looked disturbed that she even had to help us. We finally ordered and waited about 10 minutes for our food. We dined in and the store was a disgusting mess!! Only about 2/3 tables were clean within the entire restaurant. This store is very poorly kept and needs a very deep cleaning in the near future. As we waited on our food i decided to wash my hands before we ate. As I approached the 1 stall bathroom I overheard which i thought was a customer but was an employee in the bathroom on the phone having a conversation on speaker so I went back to my table to wait. When the bathroom was finally available I proceeded to wash my hands. As I entered the 1 stall bathroom it was utterly disgusting!! The floor, the toilet, the sink...every part of it was filthy!! Even the paper towel dispenser was bone dry!! I mean, did the employee who came out before me even wish her hands?? GROSS!! Since it was so small I was able to stand in the door and wash my hands while holding the door open with my body and tried not to touch anything!! Read moreCame through to get me and my daughter a meal ordered her a kids cheeseburger meal and myself the 4 piece chicken strip basket, when asked what sauces I wanted I said ranch,queso and gravy. They then told me they couldn’t do gravy and queso because it’s “homemade” and not ready yet. Which the gravy is homemade yes so I understood that one,but the queso literally come in a CAN I know this because I used to work at a Dairy Queen and when the whole can wasn’t warmed up yet I put some in a cup and heated it up in the microwave which was not done for me they just made it seem as if they were melting cheese back there making home made queso which is incorrect and then I get home and open my chicken strip box that I paid $9 for and there’s no toast and only one ranch when I asked for 2 and barely any fries I’m highly disappointed which this customer service not to mention they had me pull forward and wait for my food yet didn’t give me half the shit i asked for that could’ve been made in that time like the QUESO AND TOAST like what and btw I was the only customer in the drive through personally when I worked at Dairy Queen I’ve made more accommodations with a whole lot of more customers by MYSELF so I know its possible to get me yeh stuff I ordered.
