George Denny's manager. I called to place an order and was told that was not an option & that orders had to be placed online. I said ok and disconnected the call. Dusty is the employee I spoke to on the phone. & who helped me upon arrival. Per Dusty that there was no POT ROAST to make my “Big Dipper melt”. I asked why did I not receive a phone call to provide me with any you yuthis information. Dusty told me There was no way for them to call me to inform me. I told Dusty that was false because I provided my phone number when placing the order and I called before placing the order so I know they have is working phone. I asked Dusty to call a supervisor because this was unacceptable. I spent quite a bit of time speaking with George the manager who told me he was not coming in to refund me for $14. My order was 13.290”George told me they go through a separate company & couldn’t refund&$$ the money without physically being here to do so. I asked George the name of the employee that called him because George keptn asking me t back in the kitchen & so he didn’t have to come out. George informed nme he didn’t know who it was that p him. I told George that wasn’t a good look that he didn’t know who his employee was. George repeatedly told me he would issue the refund when he arrived for his shift at 6AM. I told George I would not Leave w/o receiving a refund. Because what sense does that make for me to leave w/o getting a refund for them to state later that they don’t know anything about it. George asked for my name and when I gave it he asked was that the name on the order. I asked George for the number to corporate & he said I could have it when he arrived at 6AM. I asked Dusty if he could provide me the number & he said he didn’t know it. I expressed to George that not only his employee, but him provided poor customer service & he objected that the service I received was not poor. I informed I would not be taking any of the meal & now would like the entire meal refunded. He offered to refund the amount when he came in for his shift at 6AM with a free meal. Personally I do not trust people to make food when there is an issue. I’m addition to that, why would I want free food after the service I received. As a manager, I informed George it was his duty to rectify the situation because the employee was at fault. George disagreed & told me he was going to get up and shower just to come issue my refund. While also stating he shouldn’t have received the phone call in the 1st place! Asking someone to leave when money is owed & then come back for a refund is completely unacceptable & I have NEVER in my life heard search nonsense from not only the employee, but the manager in charge! I ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT BE RETURNING & DENNY’S can be SURE I will share this experience on all social media...
Read moreService was fantastic but, I'm kinda sad. I was really hoping Denny's would be on top of their game considering it was just remodeled. Let's just get to it My daughter and I ordered T-Bone steak and eggs. The steak was very pale looking not much color lots of salty seasoning to much. When we cut into our steaks ( med - rare ) there was pink in the center as they are supposed to be but they were so dry we could barely cut through them. Absolutely no juices and lots of texture like a bad filet mignon almost processed like. 0 stars on the steak. The eggs looked wonderful except in the center of all the white completely slimy and under cooked. The hash browns tasted like old grease or stale potatoes. The only thing that was still quite pleasant was the toast. My husband ordered Triple Berry pancakes with sausages. The pancakes looked amazing tasted wonderful except the bananas were black in the center. The sausages were almost as skinny as a pencil and about 1" long. I understand shrink flation but really the sausages! Lol He also ordered a Chocolate shake ( he was happy with )it was so strong of chocolate kinda like when u squirt to much chocolate syrup in your milk and it burns your tongue a little when you drink it. My daughter had a mango smoothy and said it tasted like artificial mangos and she makes smoothies regularly at home with fresh fruit. I had coffee and it's still good trucker coffee . Our bill was $77 for 3 people, before the tip. I mentioned the hash browns being bad there was no offer to fix the issue or discount the hash browns off the meal. I still will say our server was pleasant to have even through all the bad food. Maybe the cook needs some classes? In my opinion I would have continued to go there before the remodel if the cook was still the same. I liked Denny's much more...
Read moreDecided to take my mother and a couple of my daughter's and their family to a nice sit down meal to celebrate us getting together for Christmas so I suggested we go to Denny's. Very bad decision, we get there and inform them we had 9 people. They get tables set up for us and seat us that is where the issues started. Given menus not informed they are out of some items when given menus. They had ran out of hamburger so half the lunch and dinners are out. So I say I will have a steak, They are out of them also. So I decided to get a breakfast meal, I had a ham steak that was only cooked on one side, had the sausage taken off and to give me double the bacon, when I picked a piece of it up it crumbled from being over cooked. The scrambled eggs had a liquid running off of it on to my plate looked clear like water, was not condensation from the eggs being hot, the potatoes I was brought were cold and hard, gave my grand son my pancakes he didn't eat them, to young to really ask why he didn't eat them. Daughter ordered fish strips and we all could smell them as soon as they brought it out of the kitchen, fish shouldn't have a heavy fish smell if it is cooked properly. I told the manager and all she wanted to do was give me a discount, sorry she needed to take the info and go correct her kitchen crew on their performance. Fix the issues not just give discounts....you will end up closing the doors because nobody will be coming back if they get the service me and...
