Gimme the Scoop is hands-down the best Italian ice I’ve ever had. It has a unique and smooth consistency that is similar to ice cream but offers bold fruit flavors. I sought them out at a Gifford Park Friday Night Market. So refreshing and served with kindness! When the truck arrived I saw children running to their parents to come get in line, excited because their favorite treat was available. It’s dairy free, gluten free, affordable, and appropriate for all to enjoy! As a teacher, I can tell you this matters to children with food allergies and their families. You MUST try Gimme the Scoop as soon as you can. Best Italian ice around! The flavors are incredible and you can mix up to 3 flavors per scoop. Be warned: it'll be hard narrowing it down to three, so you'll probably want to do an extra scoop or two. Service is top notch. The owner and her friend are so nice and make you feel welcome. I didn't feel rushed to make decisions; they let me take my time, and offered samples and suggestions. I chose a scoop with watermelon, black cherry, and peach. The peach was my favorite, but they all had such great flavors I'd order any of them again. The scoops are large and the ice is so smooth and creamy. Our family absolutely loves Gimme the Scoop! Our son has a dairy and egg allergy, so finding safe and healthy soft, cold desserts for him is a challenge outside of the grocery store, that's full of fruit flavors. It's truly a blessing to be able to go get a cold treat from a place that offers stellar customer service, creative and delicious Italian ice flavors, and cares about the integrity and quality of their brand.
