Panera Bread — Restaurant in Omaha

I’m typically not one to do a review or post anything Unless it’s really great or really awful. My wife was going to church class tonight and took our four week old and I was at home with our two-year-old sick baby girl. We always order from Panera when she has church class… Granted we order from this Panera once a week and more often twice a week and my wife caters large events all the time from this Panera. We of course ordered delivery to make it easy on everyone. Tonight our order came and it was wrong. I called back just to let them know that the order was wrong. I was informed that they had no drivers left and so I would have to either drive there Or come pick up a new salad tomorrow. Clearly that that was not an option. I asked for a refund for the wrong order and he told me he could not do it because he did not have my card. I nicely told him that we placed an order online so they did not physically have our card in the first place and they can refund it back to that order. He told me that I would have to come the next day and bring my card or pick up the new salad once again. At this point I was very upset… I told him the last thing he would want was for me to show up and have a confrontation in front of his customers. He repeatedly said are you threatening me… I repeatedly told him absolutely not it would just be better to refund my money then to have me come in and do this in front of costumers. Then he ended up hanging up on me. I dressed my two-year-old daughter and had to drive there at 7:30 at night. The manager did come up front and ended up refunding me the order. I then ended up ordering my salad and paying for it....Which is very surprising that they actually had me pay for it at this point. Panera used to be a place I thought was fancy. Then I made the mistake of joining their sip club and seeing how disgusting all of their locations are I am just shocked this place is still in business. With overflowing trash cans, never cleaning tea canisters just topping them off constantly, and their new way of doing bagels, I didn't know ordering a toasted bagel meant I was ordering a black rock. The sip club is an absolute mess, you go in and put your number in on a pad and it asks for a rating before you have even got any of your order. The drinks are never filled properly like I said before they are just consistently topped off not broken down and cleaned. The coffee is never full and the soda is the worst in town. I recently complained about all this to panera and they gave me a credit to use on my next visit and when I went in it was gone. Someone had taken my credit and used it since you can just type phone numbers into the pad until you find an account. Overall it's not worth it, the food is terrible quality and their customer service could use a huge improvement. Please go anywhere other than panera for...

Normally a consistent experience but when I ordered a very large breakfast sandwich order to go yesterday but when I picked up they were not labeled or in boxes so I had a large bag full of different sandwiches wrapped in the same paper. This meant my customers all had to open up the sandwiches and see which was which. When I order one or two to go they are put in boxes with tops that allow you to see what they are. I nicely asked the front desk person why they weren’t put in boxes or labeled and he went to find a manager. The manager didn’t come up but instead sent the young man back to tell me they’d open and re-wrap all the sandwiches (which I didn’t have time for) but next time to put a note on my online order to have the sandwiches boxed and labeled. Really? That seems like an obvious normal procedure rather than asking 10 people to handle sandwiches to see which is which. The young man at the front desk was very kind and apologized but it seems like the manager could have come up and said something, especially when you spend that much money for sandwiches and bagels...
