I'm not sure why just about any McDonald's franchise in the country has coffee on demand except for those under the ownership of the Darmody franchise.
Without fail, this location and others within the Darmody purview NEVER have any coffee ready. I place an order for it on the app, anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour in advance, yet they still FAIL at having a basic menu item ready. I get there, I have to park after going through the drive thru and the wait time is 5-10 minutes.
And then when I do finally get it, 50/50 chance that these things will happen: 1) they didn't add any cream or Splenda in the coffee at all, or 2) they REFUSE to put the requested cream and Splenda in, and put the packets in a bag, so I have to play barista in my driver's seat.
Ridiculous!
My latest attempt to get coffee started with a non-moving drive thru line for 15 min. Finally went inside to subvert the insane wait time in the drive thru line, and asked for my coffee at the counter. They brought it to me, and didn't even put the lid on the way, so I spilled HOT coffee on my hand and all over the counter.
Real nice.
I've had a word with management and they are dismissive and unmotivated.
I like McCafe too much to go somewhere else, this location is close to my office. I guess I'm a glutton...
Read moreTried the mobile app ordering for the first time as I was taking 5 young kids there by myself. It was honest to goodness amazing!! I checked in when we pulled into the parking lot, unloaded all of the kids and by the time all of us were seated, they had our food ready. The main problem I had when we were there was cleanliness. For the most part from what I could see, the place looked good. The pop area was clean, bathroom was clean and pretty much all of the tables were all wiped down and no food all over the floor. But then we went to the play area and the floor had food and trash all over and every table that wasn't occupied was filthy. I had sanitizing wipes in my diaper bag, so I got it cleaned up myself. But for the hour (plus) the kids were playing I didn't see anyone come in to clean anything until right when I was getting kids shoes on. Then when we were leaving, my 4 year old fell hard on her side because someone spilled water or something all over the floor. There was a huge pile. The lady at the register apologized instantly and asked if she was okay, then hollered at someone to get it cleaned up. Read moreWe went for the play place. There are 2 exits - and one is an emergency exit. So it was nice to be able to step out to get refills and place my order while my son played without worry of exterior doors.
**the playplace was DIRTY. My son’s clothes were covered in black dirt/soot/filth/whatever when we left. Recommend a change of clothes/socks if you really care.
Ordered at the kiosk. When I interacted with an employee, they seemed very annoyed with myself and other customers.
They were VERY busy, so I get the stress, but 😭😭
Most tables were dirty, playplace has quite a few areas with quite a bit of food/trash on the floor. We were there for probably 3-4 hours and no one came into the playplace to clean. They were asked by a family to clean off the only table that would fit all of them, to which they did… but that was it. No other table or floor area was cleaned.
*yes people should clean up after themselves, but if it doesn’t happen, the facility is left responsible.
Tables outside of the playplace place were also visibly dirty.
