It was busier than usual, which I was honestly happy to see they usually aren't when we go. The last few times, they were pretty good. we ordered burgers, and it actually had some pink, which rarely ever happened at this location. We came in thinking we were gonna have a good meal, we ordered some onion rings they came out fairly quickly but we were also ready to order our main entrees, it took until the onion rings were done and at our table for our order to be placed. The waiter was friendly but didn't really listen to us when we said we wanted fries with our order he still asked "and what for your side", I get being flustered so it wasn't that big of a deal but listen to your guests a little more. We all placed our order, which usually comes out pretty quick, not this time. Onion rings were still pretty tasty, but time went on and on, I think they might need some more training on how to handle the restaurant when it's a little busy, I say a little because there were plenty of open tables. Time went on, waters got empty, and never got a single refill in the entire time we were there, which totaled somewhere around an hour. After over 40 minutes from the time we got our onion rings and the table behind us that came in much later got their food before us, we all decided it was time to leave, I waited by the waiter as he was getting a table drinks, lucky them, because we were just going to pay for our onion rings and leave, still nothing. We all walked out, which I can count on 1 hand how many times I've done that in my life. Might be back a long time down the road, but as of right now I don't recommend on a night that has more than 10ish tables filled, I think since it hasn't been very busy in the last few years they just aren't used to it. There's not much else to say except I really think in my time observing waiting for our food. I noticed a higher priority to the carry-out orders to the dine...
Read moreMy husband and I went here for Valentine's day. We expected long waits and short staff, we were okay with it because we chose to go out. There was no wait, which we were happy about but there was a wait of about 15 minutes before someone even asked us for our drink order. Again, we were fine because we figured they were short staffed. The waitress finally takes our order and I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with no tomato with a side of "pickle nickels". When we finally get our food, I bit into my burger and realized there was red onion, pickles, and pickle relish on my burger....the bacon cheeseburger doesn't come with these ingredients. I look up the menu to see what the waitress had put in as my burger and it was the impossible burger. It was so gross. It was the saltiest burger I had ever ate. It literally tasted as if I bit into a salt lick or someone dumped an entire thing of salt on it. When we got our fried pickles, we were very disappointed. There were hardly any pickles and it was mostly just battered crumbs. The few pickles we did have were burnt or so dry, they looked like someone had put them in a dehydrator. Just disappointed with how the food turned out. I didn't ask for my actual burger order because I didn't want to wait...
Read moreWe enjoy eating Red Robin and it is one of our children's favorite places to go. My wife and children have Celiac's disease so any restaurant that has gluten free french fries in a separate fryer is automatically elevated on our list. The burgers are always good and we enjoy the drinks they offer, alcoholic or their lemonade, floats, etc.
The service is generally decent. We've had great service and we've had service that drug out longer than it needed to for certain things. The one constant, and subsequent deduction of a star, is that more times than not, our order is made incorrectly. I can deal with certain accidents, but most of the time one of our orders is made with gluten. For someone with Celiac's, that means sick for days, and unknown damage internally every time their food is cross contaminated or has gluten added directly to it. Our last order here, they added croutons to my wife's salad, specifically after our waitress said she flagged our order with an allergy to alert the cooks. We've made it a habit to double-check with the staff before eating and checking our food before leaving if we do take out. Other than that we love the food, but would love a bit more certainty...
