So this store sets up at my work on Wednesdays. The first time I ever had the food was last Wednesday. This was a pleasant experience. So much so that this week I enthusiastically ordered 2 sandwiches (with chips)and a pickle instead of one. This time the sandwich was all bread. Meat, cheese, veggies were basically non-existent. The pickle was soggy and bitter. FROM A PLACE CALLED PICKLEMAN'S. I can get much better pickles at Jimmy John's or even from a grocery store. But more importantly the sandwich was basically a dry stale roll void of filling. I'll never eat their food again. This is the biggest regret of a purchase in a long time.
Edit: So in response to my original review the management posted inviting me to call and arrange new sandwiches. I called and got a Turkey bacon club and a pickle. This time the pickle was was better, but still soggy and lacking the crunch you expect from a dill pickle. A bit on the bitter side instead of sour. I'd still prefer Jimmy John's or grocery store pickles. As far as the sandwich. Much, much better. Closer to the quality I experienced the first time. So for a place called PICKLEMAN'S the pickles are disappointing (2 stars), Customer service (5 stars), sandwich was good 2/3 times but nothing amazing (4 stars). After visiting the actual store and seeing their full menu I'm intrigued and...
Read moreI happened to be in the area and had some time to kill to grab lunch. Staff appeared to be having an amazing time with each other unfortunately to the detriment of the customer experience. The individual taking orders at no time acknowledged me when I approached the counter instead just stood there staring at me and talking to his coworkers. I did not see a single customer acknowledged upon entrance. When I approached the counter and asked if he was ready for me, he acted annoyed that I was even there. I gave him my order and he didnt ask if I wanted anything else, a half or whole, just the bread type and simply walked away from me to do something else. The rest of the staff interactions were friendly enough. Food was decent. Music was entirely too loud and appeared to be turned up even louder at one point (I had to put my second earbud in which still didnt drown it out.) I couldnt imagine trying to have a conversation if someone had been with me. I love picklemans overall and will continue patronizing other locations but this one is a no go for me. It did appear that the gentleman that took my order was a manager which makes it all the more...
Read moreThis was the first time ordering from this location. My daughter got Pickleman's from Elkhorn when we moved her and this sandwich was AMAZING! My daughter & hubby LOVES the bbq chicken pizza. I found out we had a location in Lincoln and we've ordered from there.
I was in Omaha so when my daughter suggested this for lunch, it was an absolute yes. We ordered online and I was picking it up on the way there meeting with her boyfriend. Our food was ready when I got there, they were courteous & the store was clean.
Then I got to her work and we all went to eat. If you look at the picture, my sandwich is the reason they aren't getting 5⭐ . There wasn't even 1 full piece of bacon pieced around my sandwich along with less chicken on one ½ where it was just mostly my mozzarella cheese. I really wanted to give only 1⭐ since my food is the most important part to me but my cheese bread was good and so was the pizza & other sandwich. I just expect more when I paid $9.95 for...
