This is my second time eating here but my previous time was lunch and this time was dinner, which is much better experience and food in my opinion. The waiting time is a little bit long and I think they were waiting for the table to be full, which was really by luck, depending if you walked in with enough guests even we made our reservations at 6:30pm but the staffs were all friendly and fun. The Hibachi chef was a great performer and it’s definitely entertaining for the reason of our visit. Sushi appetizer and sake sunset were great as well. The only thing I will strongly recommend is to replace one of the starch carb item to be a dessert, even if it’s a small scoop of ice cream or cookie. It’s hard to have salad, clear soup, friend rice ( a little bit salty), main dish ( their shrimp and scallops are all so big and steak was cooked very well) , mixed veggie then have noodles in the end. I feel it’s wasting food and the customers may want to add a larva ice cream if they have option to add the scoop of ice cream included in the dinner to a desert plate. If this happens, I will more happily to return and recommend to more people. But in general, this place is still a great place to go celebrate important occasions.

This is just a review for Hibachi. I will most definitely come back to try out the sushi selection. If you're looking for a fun place for you and your friends, it's a blast. Even if you have a small party of 4, you'll start chatting it up with strangers you are sharing the hibachi grill. It can be expensive if you do the meat combo, that's your best value. You will get more than enough food: side salad, broth, fried rice, noodles and vegetables, and your protein. The chef that cooked for our table was fun and entertaining. Hibachi grill is watching a chef prepare your food as you are entertained. You get it all: the sake (or a nonalcoholic drink spritz), vegetable toss, and the flipping of spatulas. It's a popular spot to celebrate. You will be entertained. You won't leave overly full, the food portions are just right. Our group was happy with the service and fun. If you're looking for a sushi place, this may be a spot to try it out. There are lunch value options available. I'll give those a review, update when I get the chance. Talking with food associates in the area, it's recommend not to do delivery or to-go. That's your warning.

I’ve been a big fan of shogun for years. January of 2022 I finally hopped on the sushi bandwagon and became a frequent visitor. On Tuesday January 17th I went to dinner with a friend. We both ordered 2 sushi rolls each, shared and appetizer and had a bowl of clear soup. When we were finishing up our food our server walked into the dining room with a can of raid spray (bug killer) and walked over to where they keep their to go boxes. He removed the to-go boxes and began to spray the back wall with the spray. He then proceeded to put the to-go containers right back where he just sprayed. Out of curiosity and disbelief we shined our flashlights to the wall and there were bugs of all kinds swirling around everywhere. Disgusted and appalled we spoke to the manager who SO GRACIOUSLY gave us $6 off of our $70 bill. I will NEVER go back to shogun and I will NEVER recommend it to anyone that I meet.

I went to shogun for a friends birthday and when I called to make a reservation they asked me if we were celebrating anything, I told them we were celebrating my friends birthday and they stated that they will receive a free birthday meal and if 5 entrees are bought (or more) the 6th is free! We gathered a group of 8 people to go and when the server was getting our checks ready he asked for her ID to show his manager! Her actual birthday is the 29th but many places honor that so it was not even a thought in my mind that we would have a problem considering it was only a 6 day difference! The server came back and said that his manager would not give the discount due to it not being within 3 days...so we asked to speak to the manager and he comes over and was EXTREMLY rude saying that he refused to honor the birthday entree. Service from Nate was great and the cook was good but due to the poor manager service we will NEVER go back and neither will any of my friends that were here with me today. Any other place we would have went would have wished her a happy birthday and just told us "for future reference just make sure it's within 3 days next time, that's our policy" and done something nice for her...

Unbelievable service tonight. Gone here about 3 times, had no problems in the past two times, but tonight will be the last. Went around 9:30pm on a Saturday, was a slow night die to a heavy snow fall. The guy that seats you was the only true problem. We first asked him what kind of drinks they had and he pointed to the soda fountain machine which advertised Brisk lemon tea, turned out not to be the tea we expected, so asked him to replace it with a different fountain drink and he acted like he wasn't going to. But the most unprofessional act he pulled was at the end after we boxed our food and paid the bill, he never came back with our change, so we waited about 10 minutes before we had to look for someone to get our change back. Once he finally came back with our change he apologized stating that he didn't know we wanted our change. Then continued to stand there to wait to see what we would leave for a tip, once we decided, he had the nerve to comment that it wasn't enough of a tip because he had to split it with the chef. Honestly couldn't believe what this man said and just left, hope only the chef got the tip, but I know he probably only got a...
