I took my family to this Wendy's about an hour ago just to get my young daughter something to eat. It was not a good experience. After a fairly long wait at the drive through, the man who took our order was very rude, condescending, and hostile. I tried to ask him a question after giving my order, and he interrupted me to give me a lecture about how I was doing it all wrong (apparently, he thought I was trying to rush on to another order...I wasn't). So after giving him the drink order he apparently thought I was trying to rush past, I then asked if we could get curly fries. My daughter wanted me to ask and I couldn't imagine what the harm would be. A simple 'no' would have sufficed...but I got another condescending lecture that ended with 'we are NOT an Arby's.' I asked him is he was really angry but he didn't hear and just kept talking over me This man sounded hostile enough that my daughter was legit quite anxious and uncomfortable as we waited to get the order.
I will say that the person working the cash register was very nice and politely fixed the order that the first employee must have been too busy taking his frustrations out on us to take down correctly. My daughter also said the food was good enough...but either way I have no intentions...
Read moreToday was our worst experience when dining at a WENDY'S (Store # 4139). We waited five minutes at the register, before getting served. They had a pan full of ice on the counter (ice machine was broke) with a scoop for you to serve yourself the ice (not covered) not sanitary. The dining tables/floors were horrible (no staff servicing the dining area). Napkin dispensers were empty (told staff about them being empty) another customer came in and had to ask for napkins. My husband spoke to the general manager and her excuse was they were short today. While we were there eating (no one came out of the kitchen area to clean the dining area or even look at it.) We could hear the laughter coming from the kitchen area. Our experience today at this Wendy's. We will not be a loyal customer anymore! Makes you not want to dine out anymore. Read moreI had to wait about 3 minutes for someone to answer at the order speaker. I had to keep saying Hello, Hello. Then just before I was about to leave to go order at the pay window, someone finally answered by Hello.
Then it took a while to give me my food, the other cars that were in front of me had already left.
Then when I go home the burger patties were burnt to a black crisp. I called and spoke with the General Manager, Katie, and informed her of my experiences. She told me that she was going to hang up on me because I am not allowed to insult her. I was merely explaining my experience at her store. I said nothing personally to her to even suggest that I was insulting her. I did say that they can't treat their customers this way.
I personally will not be returning to this location, 9346 State Rd. 16 in La Crosse, WI. I rate this location...
