La Crosse Escape Room — Attraction in La Crosse

The staff was very unprofessional. The main host was in pajamas and every other word was a cuss word. She came and sat in the room at one point and stated she was just going to chill with us. Not even 10 min in and she was just telling us the answers(that we werent asking for) The room ended up not being set up right and the laser gun we needed to move on wasnt charged so we couldnt do that either. When it was all said and done there were about 8 things not right with the room so we couldnt complete it either way. When we asked if it could be free since the whole experience sucked the host said she called the owner and he stated "just give them a 25%-50% discount. The girl apologized stating it should have just been free and then told us a whole story about how the person who set up the room quit and he must have not set it up right. ... We tried making the best of it but the whole thing was a joke. 10/10 would not recommend. None of us received our group photo either......

My husband booked us an escape room as a surprise anniversary date at the Valley View Mall location. It did not disappoint. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Our game master Moss was amazing. She made sure that we understood everything and walked us through what we needed to know and made us feel safe and secure before shutting the door behind her and leaving us to figure our way out. If you haven't done this yet. I highly recommend giving it a try, it's so much fun! Though we failed in our mission, we did not escape in time and were caught but I would do it all over again. Highly recommend if you're looking for something different and fun to do to...

I wanted to highlight the Game Master we had for our room; Sarah. She was incredibly accommodating, taking the time to set up a different room on short notice after realizing we had selected a room that was likely too easy (although we could have probably proved her wrong!) She greatly supported our gameplay, and was generous enough to give us more time to escape when we missed the deadline. This was a wonderful experience for my mom’s birthday, and I would like to attribute no small part of that to our Game Master Sarah. She had been looking forward to her first escape room, and Sarah and the team at Escape Room La Crosse made it an excellent one!...
