Prepare yourself for a tale of absolute horror and outrage, as I recount the abysmal experience my family and I endured at El Pescador in Ontario, CA. We gathered, a party of 16, to celebrate my beloved father's 50th birthday, only to be subjected to an unmitigated disaster of unfathomable proportions. I am seething with fury and consumed by an overwhelming sense of disappointment, as the events that transpired can only be described as an outright assault on our dignity and peace of mind.
From the moment we set foot in that wretched establishment, it became abundantly clear that the staff were devoid of any semblance of decency or professionalism. Their indifference and callousness were matched only by their sheer incompetence. But the pinnacle of our despair was the general manager himself, Luis, who proved to be a cruel and heartless tyrant.
Luis, in his depraved quest for power and control, took it upon himself to make our evening a living nightmare. He relished in our discomfort, his eyes burning with a sadistic pleasure as he fixated upon our every move. The air grew thick with tension and anxiety as he loomed over our table, casting a shadow of fear and unease upon our entire party.
But the depths of his cruelty knew no bounds. When we, mere mortals seeking a modicum of respect, dared to implore him to treat us with basic human decency, he responded with a venomous threat to cast us out like unwanted pests. Can you believe the audacity? We were paying customers, deserving of respect and fair treatment, and instead, we were met with disdain and intimidation.
To compound our misery, when I summoned the courage to contact the restaurant later, seeking the name of this despicable manager, the staff's cold refusal to disclose such information only reinforced their utter lack of accountability and transparency. Their complicity in this sordid affair is nothing short of abhorrent.
Our celebration, meant to be a joyous occasion filled with love and laughter, was brutally shattered by the monstrous behavior, incessant harassment, and the hostile atmosphere meticulously crafted by Luis and his callous underlings. I am left seething with an anger so potent, it threatens to consume me whole.
In no uncertain terms, I implore you, dear reader, to steer clear of El Pescador in Ontario, CA. The vile concoction of abominable service, dehumanizing treatment, and managerial intimidation orchestrated by Luis is an affront to all that is decent. As customers, we deserve to be treated with respect and kindness, especially when commemorating milestones with loved ones. El Pescador, a blight upon the hospitality industry, has left an indelible mark of suffering and despair on our souls—a wound that may never truly heal.
Read moreI visited this restaurant last night and had a terrible experience. I called this past Saturday and explained to the person who answered the phone I was looking for a place that had karaoke. This person said they have karaoke, they have karaoke on Tuesday and it's from 7 pm-close. I asked if they could handle a group of 15 and was told to call the day of. On Tuesday afternoon, I called and told whoever answered the phone that I had a group of 15 coming in at 630pm. This person said ok, and then took my name and telephone number. When we arrived, I was dismayed to find that we couldn't be seated until 90% of our party had arrived. This left me scrambling to call people to find out how far away they were. I reduced the number to ten and told the hostess that the others we were waiting on would be much later and we'd like to be seated. She went to talk to the manager but then came back to seat us. From that point, we waited over 30mins for the waitress to come to take our drink orders. Someone did bring chips and salsa to the table before that, but once we finished never came to check if we wanted more. It took another ten minutes, at least, before the waitress returned with the water we asked for. That's a total of 40mins just for water to arrive. The rest of the night followed suit. The waitress didn't return to take our orders for another 15-20mins, now close to an hour after we were initially seated. Then the other drinks (alcohol and lemonade) came out (25mins after ordering). They finally brought more chips and salsa, after we asked. Another 20mins before the food came out. I noticed that the karaoke hadn't started yet and inquired with the hostess, only to find out there was no karaoke! That was the ONLY reason we chose this restaurant and I was outright LIED to over the phone! 10-15mins after the food arrived, the waitress asked if we wanted to-go boxes. So it took an hour and a half to get the food and 15minutes before you were ready for us to go....or maybe not. Once we got the boxes, another 20mins passed and we never got the bill. At this point, I asked for the manager who had nothing but excuses. "I guess the person who answered the phone didn't know we don't have karaoke anymore.." "We weren't expecting it to be this busy tonight and we only have two servers working." He did print out a check for us which was a whole other ordeal trying to figure out how to split the check. We ultimately went to the waitress one by one like we were in line at Denny's, she split the check out by items, we paid and got out of there. I was overcharged for my nachos. The menu says 14.99, I was charged 15.99, but I didn't complain because I just wanted to leave at that point. I was surprised to see that the pina colada cost as much as my entree because it definitely wasn't the quality of a $15 drink. I won't...
Read moreHi i dont really do bad reviews but today when i went for dine in with my family we were a party of nine(9) we had great Service the waiter/server was amazing. We had a good time there everything was great until we were about to leave. We paid what we had to pay for our bill which was $490 dollars. But, unfortunately a worker there told us that we didn't pay and that we owed $200 dollar apart for our bill and we went back in and told the manger but they told us everything was fine and we paid and that everything was correct and we owed nothing. Then we went out and discussed how much we paid and we had paid the right amount. then we back in to talk to the manger again that they should better train there employees because that not right just saying you didn't pay as they are say false accusations and the manger said no confessed to saying that as my uncle the one who spoke up to them didn't want to say because he cares and knows if he didn't confess cause he needed the job but the person who told us we did not and still owe the $200 dollars was they guy with the white hat who was indeed an employee there as he was wearing clothes with the company logo and he wanted to say something but the two(2) mangers didn't let him speak and he was the one apologizing more than the manger as he think he did wrong and didn't think we were going to go back in but to the mangers that were there the guy with the white hat there was the one who made that false accusation of use not paying and when my uncle looked at him he looked worried as if he was going tell the mangers right then and there who it was. But again please just better train the employees to make sure or double check that the costumer did in fact pay and they waiter/server should give back a receipt with it saying paid for as they do not give receipts. To the guy in the white hat what you did was not right and my uncle may have not said it was you but he told me it was you when i asked who told you that he said it was you and you did seem scared/worried so i'm here to say it was you and to the mangers please better train him as what he did was not right and is a misdemeanor. To the mangers the guy in the white hat was the guy who told us we did pay and if you dont know who it was please check your cameras and make sure you bring it up to his Attention and this was taken place August 7th at the time you guys were...
