Thought we would give this place a try. We walked in at 6:05pm, it clearly states on the door that they close at 7pm. The employee looked at us in shock that we wanted to dine-in probably because he was already cleaning. He looked rushed and upset with us. It was myself, my husband and our two little boys. When we ordered I clearly told him that the boys weren’t eating because they had already ate dinner. I even told him that we were going to get them some doughnuts from next door which he just smiled and nodded his head. After we ordered my husband and then boys went next door to buy the doughnuts. When they returned our boys started eating and just as they were almost done. The employee brings my husband and I our drinks, I ask him if we could also get an horchata for the boys. Which at that time he tells us. “Oh no outside food”I was confused since our boys were almost done and we were the only ones in the restaurant. I said but I told you and how could you not see what we were doing if we’re the only ones in here. He said yea but they can’t eat that in here. I couldn’t believe my ears and I looked for a sign that maybe was posted and there wasn’t any. To save myself from getting more upset I said OK charge me for the coke cola and Jamaica and we’re leaving. (I shouldn’t even paid for that since we hadn’t even touched them but I was upset)To which he still had the audacity to ask me “what about the food?” How silly could he be thinking that we were going to take the food home if we wanted have a night out for dinner. I’m very disappointed in this place. I could see if we had actual meals from somewhere else but a 7 and 8 year old eating a glaze doughnut? Needless to say I can’t rate their food because they basically kicked us out. I should also mention that he blamed a female boss for that rule. They lost money tonight and a customer. I hope the owner sees this because we wanted to support their business, next time we’ll just go two doors down where they have great Mexican food and awesome tortas ahogadas and the...
Read moreSo, I only order the chicharrones burrito here, and for good reason. This place has the best chicharrones I’ve had so far. Very crunchy, and I’m all about texture when it comes to food. Every other place I’ve ordered chicharrones from has really soggy ones, but not here. The sauces are very tasty when I eat it in a burrito. I usually just order the all meat chicharrones burrito, that comes with cilantro and onions. My friends get the regular chicharrones burrito that comes with beans and rice. It can be pretty big, so if I save it for the next day, I eat it cold and it tastes just...
Read moreSo the service was great she attended me fast got the drinks out fast. This is just on the food itself. The chips were stale. The salsa was OK, but she encouraged me to get the torta Ogada. Which she said was a staple and that everybody gets it and loves it I went for it and when I received it, it tasted like absolutely nothing no spice no salt no pepper. It was just nothing now. Don’t get me wrong. I’m a big guy. I’ll power through it just to eat it because I was hungry, but I could not finish this food. I left the whole thing and I don’t think I’d ever come back. It just...
