KFC — Restaurant in Ontario

Today i stopped in for dinner and ordered the 14pc dinner. While waiting for my food I got wet paper towels from the restroom with soap on them and had to clean the table of greasy smears and left behind crumbs of chicken. When I got my bucket of chicken the chicken was the darkest greassy ugliest chicken I've ever seen. It looked disgusting. I went back up to the counter took the lid off the bucket and asked for fresh chicken. I was told it was fine, made just 25 minutes ago. I looked at a lady standing in line and asked her would you eat this, she instantly replied no. The worker said I had to wait 30 minutes for fresh chicken. I said give me my money back. Then the manager Marceelle jumped in and said everytime you come in to eat you always ask if Martha or Norma are here and they don't always work here. I'm the manager today and you don't get what you want. Remember a while back when you asked me to put a few extra paper liners in the bucket of chicken so to separate the chicken pieces from grease soaking the pieces on the bottom of the bucket. because you had a 30 minute ride home. I can't give you special treatment like that. You need to know that. My thoughts on that was it must have really angered you to have you work extra hard to put an extra 3 pieces of paper in that bucket over a month ago to throw that up today. WOW. My kids thought it was a great idea and ate the chicken. This Marceelle obviously can't handle putting 3 pieces of paper in a bucket of chicken with out holding anger inside. this explains the reason why I had to clean my own table myself. if lifting 3 extra pieces of paper bothered you enough to throw that up a month later i can't imagine the frustration it must be to clean a table. When Martha or Norma are managing it's the best KFC restaurant anywhere. I Never question the quality of the food. Tables are clean And I let her know that if she managed as good as them, that chicken would have never been served to a customer. I would be eating right now instead of asking for a refund. If the owner of this restaurant wants to check on the validity of this complaint. Please go to the restaurant and look at the video cameras at around 445 to 5pm on Feb 24th. KFC in Ontario on ARCHIBALD just off 60 freeway. I have been to this KFC several times and they always seem to serve old food. I asked a female employee a question about one of the specials and she immediately became impatient & irritated and asked another employee to help me. This is sad because KFC used to be great in its day or maybe it's just this location. BTW, the place was empty. UPDATE9/1/2024 @6:55pm. Came back after a year or so to see if things have improved, no such luck. There is now a kiosk to order food, I asked an employee for help finding a food item and again, employee was immediately irritated with me asking a question with sarcastic answer so I asked to speak to the manager she was a little more helpful but not much, I asked for assistance ordering an extra item via Kiosk which the employee did for me but It wasn't until I got home that I noticed that they did not include it in my order! This time however, the food was pretty good but HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! TO: District Manager, please consider providing your employees with Customer Service Training, and GOD BLESS...

Manager not qualified to manage anything. She needs to learn to manage her behavior before being out into a position of anything else. After ordering, our food sat in a bag for over 5 minutes, e didn't realize it was our food until e checked (from a distance) the number on the bag.... wouldn't you know it was our food... it was just our of reach, so we landed over the counter and got our food. The manager said.. you don't belong here, very nasty. We weren't doing anything but leaning to get our food because no one called our number. The manager then proceeds to walk out to, maybe clean, or possibly let us know her discontent with us reaching over the counter to get our food. She picked up a platter and, it was loud, slammed it extremely hard on the trash can, picked up another, slammed it again in the trash can. Walked by us and slammed another platter on a table.
