The Chef's Pho — Restaurant in Ontario

First time here but we are already fans of Chef’s Pho! My girl loves pho and I love Asian food but our corner pho spot closed down. We found Chef’s Pho on Yelp and it’s not too far away. It’s under new ownership but the old place had good reviews so we decided to give it a try. They were great from start to finish. The young lady that took our order was patient and very helpful and made sure we got exactly what we wanted (even though I wasn’t sure about what I did want!). We ordered pick up and she was polite and helpful when we got there and again, made sure we were getting what we wanted and we LOVE that! The food was great too! Only $27 for a giant serving of veggie chow-fun, large bowl of beef pho, and an order of spring rolls. Check our the pictures ‘cuz the spring rolls were amazing! I don’t think I ever had spring roll that were that big before and they were super tasted! They came with peanut sauce and chopped peanuts for good measure plus a ginger carrot dollop in the side. My veggie chow fun was awesome. Sometimes you only get typical boring veggies but this had Bok Choi and healthy cubes of tofu!! My gf loved her pho, which was the point of going there; she said it was delicious. There was a healthy portion of meat, veggies, jalapeño (which I got cuz she’s not into spicy) and we asked for extra bean sprouts and they gave us a big portion!! There is enough food for two meals, it was delicious, and very tasty. We can’t wait to get back and dine in to enjoy the food plates the way the Chef...

I was driving through Ontario just after dark on a long-distance trip and needed to sit in something that wasn't moving, but I was on a deadline so didn't want to kill more than 45 minutes. In a search, this place had good ratings and was right off the highway in Ontario so I headed there.

It's a busy, shared parking lot with the rest of the plaza it's in but I found a spot right in front. Unfortunately, there was a wait time expected to be "20 to 30 minutes," but they were honest about the number of parties in front of me, so I took the chance. About 10 minutes later I was sitting and, even though the place was packed, 10 minutes after I sat down I was enjoying my seafood pho.

I was back in the van about 45 minutes after arriving, making this the perfect dinner stop on a road trip...

Just got off the phone with the rep. I asked for extra meat options on the Chef Special Beef PHO... $15.50 for the regular bowl. $49.50.... $49.50 for extra meat on the Chef Special. I'm sorry... But what is going on with these prices. I didn't ask to have more meat than rice noodles. I just wanted a few pieces more of the meat option for the chef special. Maybe it was the language barrier. If do forgive me. But come on, $24 difference for extra meat?

Management responded with the typical jargon. Here's the deal. If double meat costs $24 on a Chef's Special, I could just get 2 regular Chef's Special for only $15.50 extra. $49.50, 1 Double meat, chef special. $31.00 2 regular chef...
