This entire experience at the Opelika location was a nightmare. We arrived 10 minutes AFTER our order was suppose to be ready and there was already about half a dozen people standing at the take out counter waiting with no worker in sight. After about 10 minutes of no one helping any of us, we went to find help and the manager noticed and asked if he could help to which we informed him of the back up at the take out counter with no worker. The manager came to the take out counter but was no help. They kept bringing out orders for people who were not there waiting but wouldnât get the names of the people that had been standing there for 40 minutes to an hour. When a customer asked a worker that happened to be at the takeout counter about the back up she went into the kitchen and then came back and was explaining about the seven pages of orders that they had that they were trying to work on and some of them are an hour old and while she was explaining this to the customer, the manager VERY rudely and being VERY condescending, stuck his hand up to interrupt her, and essentially for her to stop talking, and said in front of everyone standing at the takeout counter that âshe was a server and she had no idea what was going on,â but that he could help. Then, ironically, about half an hour later, when I was still standing there and was trying to get some answers from a different worker, the worker that I was speaking to told me the exact same thing that the server was telling the other customer but that the manager said she had no idea what she was talking about. So I guess she actually did know what she was talking about sir, but either way there was no reason for the manager to speak to her and about her like that AT ALL, but much less in front of the half a dozen or so customers. Let me reiterate the workers were great and doing their best but the manager was another story. There was one lady that had been waiting 40 minutes and they finally got her name and got her her order and about 10 minutes after she walked out her husband came back in with three boxes of incorrect food and inform that they were also missing items. Another girl finally got her food and a couple of minutes later came back in and said that the wings were barely tossed in sauce and asked the manager for a single cup of hot sauce and it took him about 10 minutes to get her a cup of hot sauce, and that was AFTER I reminded him, on her behalf, that she had asked for it about 10 minutes prior which was AFTER he had brought out another ladyâs (incorrect) order and then the items she was also missing all before getting a single cup of hot sauce. Another ladyâs food was supposed to be ready 10 minutes after ours, but she got her food before we got our food and then when she checked it, she was missing items as well. So, after standing and waiting on our takeout order for an hour, and during that hour, watching this family come in, be seated, order their food, receive their food, eat their entire meal, and then sit there playing on their phones, we finally got our order. The icing on the cake for me though was the fact that I had to tell the manager that the girl I could see through the window on the door to the kitchen packing the to go orders, was using her bare hand to rub her snotty nose, and then proceeding to touch the food that she was packing with that same hand without wiping it off, much less washing her hands. This manager was very rude and came off as being very annoyed that all of us waiting an hour for our takeout orders were frustrated. At one point instead of helping the kitchen pack the ever growing number of backed up to go orders, he was walking around straightening up and pushing chairs under tables. He honestly has no business managing anything, especially since he speaks to his staff in front of people, the way he did because that also letâs me know that I can only imagine how he speaks to them behind closed doors. This was my first experience at the Opelika location and will very...
Read moreIâm a waitress myself so I know how it is to be busy and not being able to check on each table in a timely manner, but our waitress( who did not give us a name) only had 4 tables! I usually have 8-10 by myself and still am able to check on everyone. We were first in the door but we the people that came in after us got to sit down first. Then after we was seated finally, our waitress took 15 minutes to get everyoneâs drink order out. Then left for another 15 minutes not even taking our order when we were all ready. Then our food took almost 45 minutes to come out. We had people order the same thing and 2 had to wait another 20 minutes for the EXACT same thing! We asked for refills and it seemed like the table that came in after us was way more important because she kept up with them to a tee. I work in a Mexican restaurant where I have to fry tortilla chips all the time and it only takes 3 minutes. It literally took another 20 minutes for ice cream with 3 tortilla chips on top!? Why!? She never brought the refills until we asked again and she brought only 2 of our drinks in a Togo cup so we didnât bother asking for the rest. She was very sweet though but very awful with her timing. I only have her $4 tonight and Iâm always a wonderful topper because I know the struggle. We had one person who ordered fries and they never came even after repeatedly asking and she still charged him for them!! It was like our table was not that important to her and I guess my money wasnât either. Food was okay because it was like warm when it got to us and soggy onion rings. They had to of say there for a hot minute before she got it. I will not be back until they fix this problem with their waitresses and managers. 4 tables is really not that hard to make happy and it wasnât big tables at all. Very unpleasant experience tonight. Really used to be a good place to eat and for the price it is definitely not worth it anymore. She has the right attitude for the job though except for her lack of checking on her tables and remembering what to get everyone...
Read moreI donât even know where to begin just know that Buffalo Wild Wings will NEVER get a dime from me or my friends again.
When we got there, we sat for 15 minutes before anyone even bothered to acknowledge us. And when someone finally came over unenthusiastically, all she said was, âYea Iâm not your server, Iâm just getting your drinks.â Like⊠what was even the point of telling us that? Did she think it made it better? It just made it even clearer that no one gave a damn about us.
Then we sat there for another 30 MINUTES. Not a single person came over. No one asked if we had been helped. No one cared. My fiancĂ©e finally went over to a group of servers who were just standing around at the kiosk and asked why we hadnât been greeted in almost 45 minutes. And one of them had the nerve to just say, âOh thatâs weird,â and walked away like it was nothing. No apology, no urgency, nothing. Completely blew us off.
Even after that, NO ONE CAME. After almost 50 minutes of being ignored, we got up and left absolutely disgusted.
And donât even try to say they were âbusy.â Two huge parties that were near us LEFT within 10 minutes of us being seated. The dinner rush was over. It was not slammed. They just didnât care. They saw us sitting there and chose to do NOTHING.
FORTY-FIVE MINUTES sitting there while everyone else around us was greeted, taken care of, served and we were just left there like we were invisible. It was humiliating. And the worst part? Even other customers noticed. A table across from us literally told us âGood luck to yâallâ as they walked out. Thatâs how bad it was.
Absolutely pathetic. Unprofessional. Embarrassing. Buffalo Wild Wings should be ashamed. If I could give negative stars, I would.
Worst guest service experience of my life at ANY establishment and thatâs...
