I finally had the opportunity to visit Tart and Tartan Bakery, nestled within Opelika's charming shopping district, and it was well worth the wait. From the moment I stepped inside, the air was filled with the most wonderful, warm aroma of fresh baking. The bakery itself was immaculately clean and presented a very welcoming atmosphere. I indulged in one of their brownies and selected a couple of cookies. Each item was absolutely divine – the brownie was rich and deeply flavorful, while the cookies possessed that perfect, tender quality that truly seemed to melt in my mouth. What a blessing to have premade casseroles in the freezer as well as chicken salad and pimento cheese! Wonderful service and tasty treats! Oh my! Cute little bakery in town. They had some fridges with what looked to be premade lunch/dinner meals. The chocolate chip cookie is 10/10. The espresso tarts was fabulous! The lemon melts were too airy for me. Immediately melted if you like that but I like more of a butter base cookie. The thumbprints were the same melt and I like something more for those....
