Was a little disappointed.

On the positive, the staff member with her child seemed to be really nice. I’m not sure if she was the owner but I wish I got a chance to speak to her, as she seemed very knowledgeable. I also think it’s a very cute location and they had a great book selection.

However, most of the products were unpriced. The younger staffer also said some yarn of the same type were different prices because they were bought at different times but wouldn't know which was the cheaper ones till they were rung up, making it hard to budget my project. I was really excited when I found a local yarn shop in my community. Laura is kind and helpful and a complete yarn addict which is a perfect combination in a yarn store owner. She definitely understands the love of yarn and fiber crafts. She encourages people to just stop by to knit or crochet and hang out with other yarn addicts. She makes a concerted effort to bring the local fiber community together and is always freely giving her time and crafts to the community and charities. Absolutely worth...

I love this yarn store! It used to be in the Midtown shopping center until the recent opening in Opelika. The new space is lovely!! The owner’s customer service is incredible. She spent a lot of time helping me select yarn for a baby blanket and even put in a drop ship order when she didn’t have enough skeins for my project. I have visited yarn shops all over the U.S. This one ranks among the best...
