Daisy’s Donuts (Boba & Kolaches) — Restaurant in Orange Beach

Donuts donuts and what do you know? Donuts! Everybody's favorite pit stop once in a while, even the cops love the round holed food! That's just what I know though.

Atmosphere: It just feels at home, when you enter inside, you are greeted with many displays and the donuts will really show their flavor, this emphasizes people to buy what they want to get, especially since the names are there too, blueberry cake yep, oreo what a surprise and my favorite strawberry (I'm not usually one to like strawberry but this got me hooked!)

Pricing: Reasonable and affordable, good for people who are tight on a budget, a single glazed is 1.99 and iced is 2.99 but the menu is so small and simple, selling coffee, donuts and do my eyes deceive me, boba tea at a donut shop? What a dream. Oh wait, it became a reality 😂

Miscellaneous: Some other things to point out: The girl at the counter was really sweet and greeted us when I got inside and the parking accessibility is easy as there are many spaces to choose from, the location is well-suited as it is near an ice cream shop and a restaurant close by,...

My husband and I checked out the menu before heading to shop. We actually selected a different donut shop to go to because this didn't have the old fashioned buttermilk the other shop offered. Well... the other shop didn't have it or any cake donut offerings. So we decided to try out Daisy 's as well. The selection was minimal, no cake donuts either? Missed opportunity as we would have bought a dozen! We were told it's the winter menu, not noted online so options were glazed donuts with different toppings. Not even one of their muffins was available. I hate glazed donuts. I picked one to sample with Butterfinger topping. It was moist and a bit dense (not a bad thing). I thought that there was a bit of a fryer oil taste, like the oil had not reached temp before throwing the donut into fryer. BTW, I worked several years in donut and coffee shops, so I'm a bit picky. ...

This review will make sense as you read it as why we gave what we did. Went there hoping for a large variety...and maybe a few cake donut styles...nope and nope. The person at the counter was very nice and told us that at this time of year they limit what they make in terms of variety. Variety was pretty scarce. We ended up getting the pineapple coconut and chocolate coconut and both were excellent. All donuts were yeast donuts at this time of the year according to the person at the counter. Just wish the variety was greater...a bit of a let down.

Decided to give them another chance. Their hours are shown to be open until 10pm. Called 5 times from 3pm - 5pm an no answer so have no idea what is going on over there but maybe adjust your operating hours as I was about to make a 40min trip and...
