Friendly staff and great prices!! My friends and I stopped through on our way back from Orlando to Jacksonville. It took a while to be seated, but they were visibly busy. They open at 8 and close at 8. They do sell breakfast, but we weren't there for that. Our server came to the table, got our drinks and asked if we needed more time to look at the menu, which we did. We all got items from the lunch special menu. I got the El Rapido, which came with a chicken taco, rice, beans, and a small beef burrito. My friends got the trio fajitas and the burrito. Each of our meals came with a beer, margaritas, or soft drink. My lunch choice came to $7.40 after taxes, more after tip. I was stuffed after eating half plus chips, salsa, pico de gallo, and queso. I got a margarita with my lunch. For the amount of food and a drink, these are great prices. The food was authentic Mexican. The owner came around twice, making sure that everything was going well. Everyone was very friendly. I went into the women's restroom, which was a little tight. There were three stalls, one with a sink. There was an additionally sink outside of the stalls. The restrooms looked outdated, but they looked to have been kept up and clean. I'll be back here again.

I have been dining at this establishment for years and the food is very much to my liking but I stopped going about a year ago due to the indifference of the lunch servers and the Dangling Dust Bunnies hanging off the lights but I thought I would give it another try. I was craving some Great Mexican Food and their Salsa is the best. My meal was superb and I enjoyed it immensely but once again I was very disappointed with the service. When I ordered my meal I was served an attitude in response. When the meal was dropped off by another server she left before I could let her know that it was incorrect. I am not a complainer so I eat it as it was and enjoy it anyway. The only time anyone came back to my table was to leave the check. I was pleased to see that it was cleaner than the last time I was there...That was refreshing but without a friendly smile and some respect as a patron my experience was as dry as those Dust Bunnies! If only my server had been as interested in my dining experience as she was in counting her tips and hanging out at the end of the counter with her coworkers perhaps I would go back but for now it's Adios Mi Tierra!

Where to start; well I guess let's start with the worse issue this "establishment" has. For context me, my girlfriend, and her family had made reservations for 12 2 days in advanced and when we got there, we were greeted with unpreparedness which was then followed up with hostility by one of the waitresses due to being very upset with grabbing seats from another table that no one was using but apparently had also been reserved for another party of which also wasn't prepared. The waitress for as old as I'm sure she is, anyone can tell needs to retire or just collect SSI because it's obvious she doesn't need to deal with people given the level of hostility. Sounds like a great start to our experience right? Well after being greeted with hostility we finally decided to do the greeters job and hand out our own menus and took the initiative of looking at our food from the menu early. Took the waitresses forever to take our order let alone just to mess up our order anyways. After we had received our food most of the dishes were cold and bland (no seasoning) after dealing with this trash service and equally low quality food I went to the bathroom which is clearly made for toddlers due to the urinals being about 2 1/2 to 3 feet off the ground. (Men's room) if that wasn't annoying enough some of the staff there definitely was under the influence and so that kind of explained why they were acting the way they were, no body wants to work high. Highly recommend every customer that try this place out goes across the street to their competitors or if you decide to get food there, don't get the tacos, burritos, or enchiladas. Pretty much anything that makes a spanish restaurant...

This is my all time favorite Mexican Restaurant. It is a little far from my location but so worth the drive. Best rosa shrimp chimichanga I have ever had. I like to get the refried beans on the side and not in the chimi , but that is just my preference. Everything you get is DELICIOUS there. Desiree helped me last time I was there with a to go order. She was SO sweet and helpful with my order. Her customer service and friendly attitude made my day. I was just leaving the hospital, and was only wanting to eat their rosa chimichanga. She packed my order and gave me a water and a lollipop, and said it was to make me feel better. I wondered, how did she know? I got home and realized my wristband was on me🤦‍♀️ but she really made my day better, and happy to have made the drive out to get their delicious fresh chips, fresh salsa, and fresh pico, forget it. The BEST. 😋 HIGHLY recommend their AUTHENTIC restaurant and SUPERB service. Check them out! Ask for Desiree! She is a doll! They also have Taco Tuesdays and beer specials to pair that with. What's better than Taco Tuesdays with REAL and AUTHENTIC tacos for the family? Other than their rosa shrimp chimichanga, of course...No Mexican restaurant can compare to their food, their customer service, and Desiree of course. They have other nightly specials. You will not be dissapointed at Mi Tierra. I have not found a better Mexican restaurant in the 7 years that I have been going here. I usually order carry out (Im always on the run)but have dined in a few times as well. Great atmosphere and environment. Lovely decorated and painted as well, and they have a...

Food has become so much less than it was when I first started going here while it was still located on Enterprise Road. Since then I don't know what happened but the good and service has just progressively been going downhill. This past time was just unfortunately the last visit for me which really sucks because I love the restaurant itself. My drink sat empty for over 10 minutes before I finally carried it to my server in order to get their attention. My "garbage burrito" was more like "garbage with a flour laid over the top" as it was not even rolled. The queso was not fully melted it was a pool of melted cheese on the outsides and a semi-soft block of cheese in the middle. The owners are super nice guys and it sucks to have to leave a review like this but it sucks more because one of them was right there just focused on seating people (2 tables) instead of making sure the guests who are present and the employees on staff are doing their jobs. My advice is watch your people or they will kill your business and if you want to just be owners which by all means is your right and I think you should if that's what you want but you must empower a manager who came assure these behaviours of laziness and shortcutting end. I wish you all the best in the future and hope this helps you see some things, I will miss this place. Oh to end on a high note: even though the Margaritas weren't but one get one free they were still one of the best it of the all restaurants on 1792 from...
