As I’m waiting for my food I noticed an employee had grabbed a cup with 2 fingers inside the cup then fills it with cherry freeze, when the food came out the nuggets where Luke warm if that so I politely asked for them to drop new nuggets and replace my cherry freeze, then came the attitudes “wel just have to wait out front 3 minutes then and what’s wrong with the freeze” so I told her and she exchanged it great I wait on the nuggets and they show up after waiting in the parking lot out front, I was sure they would get it right this time, I open the bag and white yolk like substance is on most of the nuggets on an 8 piece, I then ask the associate that came out if she’s ever received an order of nuggets that look like this and she stated “they look like that sometimes” she puts her hands out and I give her the bag and her hands still open she just let the bag of nuggets drop in front of us at this point with the attitudes from the staff I ask for a refund, she states pull through the drive through again, so at this point I’ve gone through the drive through initially simply asked for my order to be corrected had to wait out front for them to waste my time by bringing me nuggets that where obviously not okay to eat maybe it was over cooked and oozing the white stuff from the inside like a mozzarella stick if this is the issue why pack them up and give them to a customer that has already had to wait double then when that doesn’t work expect that said customer to pull through another line to get their refund. After she said to pull around I didn’t even want the refund and just left horrible experience not worth even dealing with the poor customer service these employees will literally argue with you over cold nuggets and poor health practices. The cashier has a bit of an attitude but my issue on this visit was the lady grabbing the food and drinks and handing them out of the drive thru, grabbing the cups not from the outside but by grabbing the cup with her bare fingers from the inside, and I guess asking for hot nuggets is a reason to treat me poorly. The cherry freeze was for my toddler who wants a strangers bare fingers in their kids drink ? Then her nuggets look like the staff wanted to punish us for simply saying something about it (who gets white stuff on their nuggets? I haven’t until today) Reading through the other long list of negative reviews on this business I wonder how they can still operate. A health inspection is definitely due at this business maybe a lot more training on the staff, I’d like to donate my refund I left to the cashier as she was just trying to do her job looks like the employees around her are more of the problem the drive through runner shouldn’t be working in any type of food preparation if she can’t keep her fingers outside of the cups. I would never visit this location again like the other post say do yourself a favor and go across the street to...
Read moreSo I went to this location a few years ago and decided to avoid it after a three strike personal policy. I figured I'd give it a try again since BK apparently paired with Walmart+ users and I get a free whopper as a Walmart+ subscriber. Surely, it'd be a different experience since circa 2019.
Somehow, nothing has changed about this location even after five years. The parking lot is still terrible with potholes. This BK is also within a pretty well maintained shopping plaza and with how rundown and ghetto the BK looks, it really detracts from the nearby businesses and makes it look like a trashy area where you might get mugged or step on a used syringe and get hepatitis.
The service is very slow to the point they kept one guy waiting for literally 10 minutes at the speaker before taking his order. When it finally came to my turn, it was the same issue with me albeit slightly quicker. The McDonald's across the street is packed (unlike this place) and they still manage to take your order quicker.
I had pulled up to the window to get my food and upon peeking through, there only seemed to be one lady actually working, seemingly taking orders one at a time. To make another comparison, the McDonald's across the street has many employees running around that you can see from the drive-thru window alone.
The food? Not good:
-French fries. The fries were clearly left out for some time and just put into the microwave to heat up and make them hot as if fresh. The taste obviously wasn't fresh fries and there was no salt.
-Chicken fries. Surprisingly decent given what I know of this location through past experience. But just decent. Not good.
Whopper (the whole reason any W+ members would visit). Probably the worst item I received and this is the item that is meant to be BK's best. It was lukewarm, sloppily assembled more than you know you can expect from fast food, and there was no signature charbroil taste that separates itself from the much better McDonald's across the street. The only item I actually enjoyed in my order was the soda. At least this BK did that right.
See where I went with this? Go to the McDonald's across the street if you want fast food. This BK location needs to just go out of business already. It's only by some miracle that it still remains open, or some rich person paying for its upkeep, but it's been around for years now and still has terrible food and service.
You'll hardly ever see people eating here and there's a good...
Read moreIt was just after 8am Sunday and was being told by a crew person in the parking lot (near the homeless guy laying on the ground) that they were closed because of "difficulties". Manager "Shiryl" at the drive-thru window was rather exasperated, saying that her two staffers didn't show up (overslept). She was rushing trying to get the place open, and was understandably frustrated. It wasn't very professional of her, however, to react with frustration to a customer because of it. If anything, a manager should be apologetic, and should do anything to right the wrong.
Anyway, she said the place should be open in about 5 minutes, so I said I'd circle back (the pups were getting impatient!). I did, and things went well, and food was of good quality. Two stars this time. Will visit again, however. Hopefully they'll use alarm clocks.
UPDATE: Nine months later (4/20/19), another visit. Arrived at the drive-thru speaker, stating I had a phone app (Order #69). When I arrived at the window, the lady (redhead in black jacket) said there was no phone app order in her system, so I had to re-order. She was extremely rude with her expressions, possibly being annoyed at my two Labradors barking at some birds out the vehicle's opposite window. I placed the order, paid, and then when handing the change back to me, the lady said, "They're not barking at birds", and proceeded to close window and walk away with a look like I was some sort of idiot. She then went back to talk with the cook all during the 5-min. wait, leaning on a table with her elbows chatting (instead of restocking, cleaning counters or lobby area - I used to work in this industry - along with being rude, her time isn't well-utilized).
Anyway, no "thank you", "come again" or anything. Just handed me the bag through the window saying, "here you go", and shut the window. I would have completed the receipt survey, but of course, no receipt! This woman has no business being involved in ANY sort of customer-service environment. It would be best if she...
