This is about the 8th or more time I have been to this location. Every time the food is not right and unbalanced. Whoever rolls the burritos does not understand the ingredients should be through the whole thing. Not just the top or bottom, or completely missing. When I ask for extra sauce inside, it is almost always dry. As if I asked for no sauce even though I pay extra for it. The consistency of proportions and balance of ingredients is highly lacking. I sometimes hesitate to go here because I am afraid I will be disappointed once again. But I like a good simple taco bell meal once in a while. Honestly the whole staff needs retraining. But to be fair to the employees... I have gone inside a time or two, and they are extremely understaffed. I felt kind of bad for them. But this next scenario is what finally caused the one star.
My husband and I were up late Tuesday evening. So we went to this taco bell at 2:14 am Wednesday (8/13/2025), for a late night meal. I ordered my bean and cheese burrito with extra red sauce inside, like I always do. The order taker asked if I wanted the onions, I said yes. I ordered extra red sauce on the side. Preparing for them to not put any sauce instead, because it happens often. I said we are saucy people. The guy chuckled a bit and said he understood. I also ordered a beef burrito supreme with no lettuce. When we arrived home (less than a mile away) we found my food was cold. I still tried to eat it. The bean burrito was drier than the sahara desert. It had no sauce, cheese or onions. And was not just cold to touch but you can visibly see it by the thickness and texture of the beans. So I put it down and moved on to my burrito supreme. It was not a burrito supreme at all. It was another cold bean burrito with chunks of tomato.
We decide to call the store at 2:41 am. A girl answers "hello", not this is taco bell or anything business like. My husband asked for the manager. She replied "who dis?" She proceeded to tell us we can't talk to him unless we say who we are. She was very combative. The behavior and attitude were just strange, and unnecessary. At that point we weren't even upset, just trying to give the manager a heads up about how our food order was received. My husband then says "I'm a customer, and I need to speak to the manager" The manager gets on the phone and was nice at first. He was asking us to drive back to replace the order. But who wants to have to do that. My husband raised the concern for not just getting the order wrong, but giving us cold food. The manager said at the end of the night they pre-make alot of their food. That raised more concern for both of us. Not only are we not getting what we paid extra for, but why are you handing us old food? Bean burritos are $1.99 and burrito supremes are $5.79. This food was already cold and congealed 45 minutes before close. Meaning it had to have been sitting there for a couple hours already.
We would have let it go. But then the manager proceeded to get upset and became very rude. He had the audacity to tell us, that it was our fault we got old food for coming so close to 3am.
Why are we at fault for spending money during your stores operating hours?? Very unprofessional and disgusting behavior from both employees. Very poor customer service. Very poor ethics overall.
I worked in the food industry for over 16 years. I have never ever talked to a customer like that. That food was not even under a warmer, it was ice cold. There are food safety laws. A health inspector would definitely write this store up if they caught these late night procedures.
If I owned this franchise I would most definitely be replacing both those two employees immediately. You can not train such a low level of poor character out. It also breeds more bad character.
We will be reporting this to the franchise owner and to corporate.

Read moreAfter spending 20 minutes in line we received our food. Bag was stapled shut, a good thing, and when asked if everything was in the bag the response was yes. After a 15 minute drive home we found that a triplelupa was missing. My entire dinner. Today is my daughters birthday, Tacobell is what she wanted for dinner. I am not willing to spend my time and money to drive back and get something I was told was in the bag especially on her birthday. My wife called the restaurant, she is less upset. She spoke to a young lady who offered no empathy or apology. She just said you can come back tonight or tomorrow to get it. I said please just refund my money which I was told no. I then got on the phone and stated I would come back tomorrow though I want to make sure the store manager is there for me to speak to, the young lady said okay and hung up the phone. No information was taken no time frame was discussed. It is $4 so the money isn't a big issue. Me now cooking dinner for myself at 7 pm at night is sort of a big issue though the biggest issue is the complete disregard for customer service. In addition this is the norm for this location. We avoid this location at all cost because at least 9 of the last 10 orders we been wrong. Mind you this is over 5 years so they have always been this bad. DO NOT LEAVE THE DRIVE THRU OR LOBBY UNTIL YOU COMPLETELY...
Read moreJust look at the other reviews, everybody hates on Taco Bell ...but somehow it's one of the largest fast food chains in the US anyway!!
This location deserves a solid four but I'm giving them a five just because of the other reviews.
I grew up around here and have been shopping this one since they opened back in the 90s yo. If you think this one looked old before the remodel, you should have been to the one in DeLand before this one opened. It's been awhile since the .59 .79 .99 menu, Texas Taco (City Slickers II promo), and the once ever beloved Chicken Chilito. Ay dios mio!!
Lots of healthy options now, vegetarian and vegan too. And Taco Bell totally welcomes fussy customizations like fresco bean burrito (that's no cheese add pico de gallo) add black beans, rice, and potato. Mnmn
I'm up to see the parents often enough and they like doing Taco Bell on Saturday because they're creatures of habit so I end up here plenty still. I'd say I'm in two or three times every three months at the very least; something like that.
With all the business we've done here over the years, there's nothing really to report; everything's actually been what you want in a Taco Bell. It's been good and they have really long track record.
Moreover, hospitality runs high here and they're always especially very patient with my easily trying but lovely...
