I am very dissapointed with a very unpleasant and insensitive experience during my visit today. I made my order through the drive thru. I was waiting to pay and pick up my order and the person in front of my car hit the car in front of her and got confused, put the car in reverse and press the accelerator instead of the brake going straight to my car and crash on it. Unbelievable, she was an elderly person and she apologize to us and call the police , and ambulance. They were there immediately. Since I hurt my back, I was going to the hospital but I got inside to get my purchase cause I am diabetic and I know how long was going to be the waiting time at the hospital. I stood in a corner waiting for the cashier to give me my food . There was a long line and a man in the line told me that everybody there were making a line. I explained him that I just had an accident in the drive thru and came to get my food to go to the hospital. The cashier told me that I had to make the line. My food was order way before the people in the line. She asked me if I wanted to talk to the manager and I say yes. The manager came and I explained her. She told me that the order was cancelled and I have to make the line to order again. How insensible. At least, they should come outside and give us our orders. They saw the police and the accident. I will NEVER EVER go back to that Wendy's again. Probably they noticed that I am am hispanic and the racism came over. I am a proud puertorican US citizen and professional school teacher for 38 years who is a proud resident of this amazing country and very respected human being. Read more06/13/18 @ 10:00 am I went thru the drive thru, no customers there, they ask me to wait, it only took them like a minute to take my order, but when I got to the window the young lady ask me if I could wait a second that some would come to cash me out shortly, then she screamed at the top of her lungs that she needed a cheeseburguer deluxe, no pickles, I waited there for 5 minutes while she was counting the register, a young man was pressure washing the parking lot and another lady was putting the salads away, the young man went back to the kitchen, 5 minutes turned into 10 minutes...then I ask the lady that was doing the register if it was gonna take much longer, she looked at me and yelled: "the lady here is waiting for her food", no one came, no one cashed me out, no one brought me the food, an after 5 more minutes I left the drive thru without food, 15 minutes waiting for a cheeseburguer. Your service is the worst that I ever had, althoug is not the first time that this had happen at Wendys, Orange City, Fl, but today was the worst so far. I used my app to order; and, I picked up my order via the Drive-Thru.
I was greeted with a very enthusiastic welcome by a very professional and kind team member, Mani. Mani also helped coordinate and fill my order. Mani was kind and friendly, efficient, helpful, and kept a smile throughout my visit.
I observed the ENTIRE TEAM coordinating and cooperating seamlessly!
I want to recognize Mila, Ashley, Kree, Domo and AJ all of whom were professional, welcoming, friendly, efficient, and kept smiles as they worked to fill my order and others!
The Manager was exceptionally efficient, professional, friendly, welcoming and helpful!
My food was hot and my order was completely accurate! Kudos to the cook staff!
