I visited this location for the first time in a long time on 5/10/22. I had my young son with me and we ordered ahead and stopped in to pick up our pizza in the evening. My son was hungry and cranky, as it was dinner time, and I was hoping to run in and grab our pizza and go. When I walked in, the person working had a headset on taking phone orders and didn't acknowledge me at all. After several minutes of waiting without acknowledgement even during times he wasn't on the phone, I did ask if he could assist me and he again did not acknowledge me. Another worker did come up and let me know that my pizza was in the oven. This was well after my pizza was supposed to be ready, but we were fine waiting. Another 10-15 minutes went by with no further updates or acknowledgement from the main person working, and then another customer came in. The main person working then looked at her and told her he'd be right with her. He still didn't acknowledge me at all. At the 30 minute mark, I asked him again if he could check on my pizza, at which point he realized my pizza had been done the entire time and had been sitting in their warmer. At that point my child was melting down and I expressed my frustration that my pizza had been ready the entire time and I was told that he was the only person working and was busy. I do understand that, but I don't understand why he was able to stop what he was doing to acknowledge the person that came in much later than me and continued to ignore me the entire time. I asked why he chose to specifically ignore me, but he did not give me an answer. I am a person of color and the man working and the customer that came in after me were both white, I don't want to make assumptions but I also don't understand what else would have prompted him to completely ignore me multiple times while acknowledging the other customer as soon as she came in. At no point did he apologize for ignoring me or for making us wait 30 minutes when our pizza had been ready the whole time we were there. I understand that customer service is extremely difficult and that most places are short staffed and very busy at the moment, but I would have appreciated at least some acknowledgement and an apology. He did tell me that my pizza should still be warm because it was kept in the warmer, but when I got home it was cold and tough and the cheese had congealed. I do understand that mistakes happen, but I wish the person working would have at least apologized for the mistake, offered to make it right, or at the very least acknowledged my existence at all without me having to flag him down. TDLR: driver supposedly went out twice and never showed up or called, Manager on duty was rude and did not help (or give her name). I have no pizza and unsure if I will get my money back or not.
Ordered pizza for delivery, and was told 30 minutes. I called 45 minutes later and the manager said the driver forgot part of the order and had to turn around. Another 45 minutes later and the driver never showed up. Manager claimed they knocked but 1. I was within hearing distance of the door the entire time and 2. The driver had my number on the order and never called.
I decided to go pick it up instead, but was told I would recieve no credit (I paid a delivery fee plus tip) so I decided to get a refund instead. Manager sneered and said sarcastically that she was sorry but that can't be done until tomorrow when the store manager comes in. He asked what I ordered then said “I just had that on the chopping block and IT WAS NOT BURNT”….I replied “well that’s quite the response for someone working in customer service ” then continued on letting him know that I had no desire for free or additional food…I just want my pizza replaced. I recently placed an order that was delivered perfectly and I simply wanted the same service. He replied “it’ll be there in 30 minutes” and hung up. The replacement pizza looked exactly the same😬 won’t ever order here again. I know the persons name, but I won’t mention it….Maybe he was just having a bad day. The 3rd pic is the replacement.
