Bob Evans — Restaurant in Orange Township

Went to have broasted chicken after church. It sounded good, but as my water was being served the bottom of the glass came off and I was drenched from my shoulder to my thigh and ended up sitting in a puddle. A request to make sure the biscuits were hot was ignored and when they arrived they wouldn't melt butter. Our salads were not delivered after 30 minutes so I asked for our salads and told Jose we would like our salad before the meal. I mentioned the temperature of the biscuits and he said, "Well you ate them". Then he brought out one lukewarm biscuit to share. The chicken came after ten more minutes and it was anemic looking boneless chicken breast, not the broasted we had ordered and an overdone potato that was brown, not white. They offered to fix what we wanted, but it would be 12 minutes. Ok we would wait. After thirty minutes our chicken arrived it was dry and overcooked. The cook told us the temperature was not what it should have been, so she put it back in the pressure fryer again. The potato was overdone and lukewarm. We will not be returning.when I remarked about the water bath I was told by the manager that she was sure Jose didn't do it on purpose. Unfortunately that did nothing to improve my chill from being drenched. I will not...

I ate at Bob Evans tonight for the first time in a long time. I was given a gift card for Christmas so I thought I would go and check it out. Within an hour after eating, I was so Uncomfortable I had the worst stomach ache I’ve ever had. After about four hours after eating there, I had the worst case of food poisoning I have ever had !! I should’ve known because the restaurant only had about three people in it and it was dinner time on a Saturday. I’m usually leery of restaurants that aren’t very busy because then you worry about if the food is fresh. Apparently it was not! I got a chicken Cobb salad. There was so much bacon on it or at least that’s what it said it was it didn’t taste like bacon. I removed almost all of it from my salad. The hard boiled egg on it had an odd consistency and I should’ve known them. The yolk center was almost like a deviled egg consistency. Not a good meal. And I think I’ll be suffering from it most...

Just had one of the most awkward dining experiences of my life. The cashier, who I thought was the manager the way he presented me, hassled me about a coupon I had and tried to say I couldn’t use it only to find out the register allowed it (by the way it was a birthday coupon- his exact words “is it really your birthday?” Like I would lie about that...) In the middle of eating dinner, I look over to see our waitress and the manager (?) looking straight at my brother and I laughing clearly talking smack. My brother didn’t see and said I should leave her 20 percent so I did but I wasn’t happy about it. Not happy about my experience here at all and I won’t be coming back to this location. Only reason I rated 3 stars was the food was good and although the server was talking behind our backs she was quick to bring our stuff out and nice...
