Wings and Rings — Restaurant in Orange Township

So, me and my family are repeated customers. We’ve been here 3-4 times. This last time we went which was in march 2025 was the worst experience by far. Visits 1-3 wasn’t bad. Food was good. Service was meh. Price was reasonable. Same experience for all 3. The 4th experience was weird. Very busy dinner service. So we arrived and the seating was cramped. Our service wasn’t the best. We sat at the table for over 25 min. To order drinks and appetizer. Then when we finally ordered the main meals the system lost all progress our waitress had on our order so she had to start over and that took double the amount time. So currently it’s nearly been 35-45 min. Before our main order was actually ordered. My daughter wanted wings and wanted to try a specific sauce so she got a sauce sample and she decided on that. When the order came to her it wasn’t the right sauce on her wings so we politely told management and management said that we We’re in the wrong because this is that sauce. When 3 of us tried it and knew it didn’t taste like the sample nor look like it which was easy to compare since the sample was still sitting on the table. So they said we didn’t order the right sauce. Come to find out they realized that their sauces were not in the right bottles because an employee messed up and put the wrong sauce in the wrong bottles (according to the managements story). Anyways even though the restaurant took the plate back and remade her food she still had to wait on her food while everyone else got to eat and they also tried to argue with us. That being said we also ordered refresher drinks. If you look at their drink menu (at this time) they don’t have fine print mentioning “free refills” or “no free refills” it doesn’t say anything about paying extra for refills but apparently they do. We only found out after look at the bill when it came back to us but even then it wasn’t an “extra” cost it was double. They charged us a second drink as a regular price drink. But we didn’t ask for refills. The waitress asked us if we wanted more drink and we said sure. Not knowing nor did she mention anything about there being no free refills. So we spent nearly an extra 15$ just on drinks. As were finishing up we asked for box and that took 15 min for a box. Including the check. During this whole experience the entire time my family and I were trying to enjoy our dinner the management and waitresses kept staring at our table ever since we mentioned something about the wing sauce.

Needless to say they lost some repeated customers tonight because I really didn’t feel like we were treated fairly nor met with adequate service. Even with all the hassle we experienced I would have expected the restaurant to let us keep The wrong wings because I offered to take them since my daughter couldn’t eat them and instead they took the food back. Which would have had to be thrown away since the plate came to our table and also my daughter ate a wing off of it. None then less the plate of wings could have stayed with us and they exclude it from the bill and remake her wings and then explicitly list their refill policy on the beverage page of their menu.

The other opinions are minor however they are as follows: seating was cramped for busy dinner service. Restaurant is always too cold.

But the food...

Wife and I stopped by because she was craving wings. I drive by this place a lot and decided let's go. Only bar area was open which wasn't a big deal. Wife ordered garlic Parmesan and when they arrived she took a bite and they were spicy. Had to wave down our server and said these were too spicy for her ( she likes zero spice) even I who love spicy noticed they had a little tingle in them. He said well they aren't supposed to be spicy. I said well they are can we just get them replaced for the smokehouse BBQ he said sure. He brought those back and never took back the spicy garlic Parmesan. So I figured instead of replacing them he just added to the order. He brought our check and low and behold it was just added. And on the reciept it said medium on the garlic Parmesan. So that's why they were spicy. When he came to take the money I mentioned " to be fair you did put medium on the check so that's why they were spicy" he said "she ordered them that way"..." No, my wife never said the words medium" he replied " ok", took my credit card and brought it back and set it on the table. No other words were exchanged. No " thanks for coming in tonight", no " sorry for the confusion earlier" nothing. We were a inconvenience for him who didn't seem to even want customers there over an hour before closing btw. One thing to assume she wanted medium but it's another thing to just take responsibility and just replace the order dude to an oversight. But to not thank us for our visit or say have a goodnight, nothing. So he obviously doesn't want us to come in again and I for sure...

This is one of my favorite restaurants. But I was so disappointed tonight. I ordered take out and specifically said multiple times that the wing sauce needed to be on the side as we were feeding children. When I arrived I saw that both orders of wings had sauce on them. I let the hostesses know that that wouldn't work...that I specifically requested sauce on the side. The two girls talked about it and decided to take it back. One of the hostesses apologized and said that the order did in fact say sauce on the side. Meanwhile our order of garlic parmesan fries were left sitting on the table. I asked the hostess to please remake the fries as they would be sitting there 15-20 minutes while the order was being fixed. She seemed very put out by my request and went to the back to see if it was possible. She returned and not very kindly said they would remake my fries. When the order was finally brought out the hostess handed me the bag without so much as a thank you. What has happened to your customer service?!

I placed a similar order two weeks ago with the same request of sauce on the side and it too was done incorrectly. At that time I let it slide as it was just my husband and me dining. We usually eat here every other week but sadly not sure that's going to continue. The great food won't be worth the poor...
