1/8/24 about 7pm...Well I live around the corner and have been going to this Wawa since it opened. Today I went in to get my regular order went to the kiosk put my order in. Before paying I always go to the counter where the food and drinks are prepared and like always asked the girl to make my order a certain way, btw the manager was on there floor walking around while I asked the girl to make my drink a certain way and heard the conversation. She tells me that why do I have to be such a difficult customer when all I asked her for was to put a bit of whipped cream on the bottom of the cup before she pours my smoothie in. Then she proceeds to suck her teeth (the few she had left in her mouth and tells me ok in a nasty way. Meanwhile the manager laughs and walks away. I pu the ticket in the garbage and told her to forget it. I went to the one in Belleville NJ where the customer is always right and make their customers orders as ordered with a smile. In my opinion the owner of this location really needs to fire certain employees (starting with the night manager (he hear the whole conversation and did nothing but laugh while he walked pass us) and a couple of workers and make this location customer friendly, where the customer is welcomed and treated with respect. This location has become a joke to to order anything because it seems like the employees are more interested in talking and sharing stories with each other instead of making the customer feel welcomed smh. I will not be going back to this location but will continue to go to the Belleville NJ location where everyone makes you feel welcomed. THIS WAWA NEEDS AN EMPLOYEE OVERHAUL OR SERIOUS RE-TRAINING. I will no longer go to this location. I will go back to the Belleville NJ location that I was going to before this one was opened even if I have waste a bit more time to get there because that location cares and treat customers with respect and always get my orders right. Read moreI don’t even want to give this place one star . When they first opened for business I was excited to have a WaWa close to home . When I went to order the women working in the Deli was an older women , there may have been 5 c like a turtlshe had no sense of urgency at all . Not to mention she keep cleaning her are and taking her time doing so , I observed she wasn’t able to multitask. But I’m being considerate she’s up in age and old school much like a grandma in her kitchen . Lol , but ! She wasn’t changing her gloves which I expressed my concern while handling my food , and she got an attitude . I asked her to change her gloves but she refused . I asked for the manager on duty who didn’t seem to care less … I just asked him to cancel my order and for a refund . A manager would normally apologize and satisfy a customers need .. I went again this morning assuming it may be a better experience and the same manager was behind the Deli , I ordered a bagel with berry cream cheese and the presentation was horrible!!!!! The bagel was oily , the outside of the bag was oily , and he slid it toward me on the counter without handing it to me appropriately. No respectable Customer service for a manager whom by the way doesn’t even smile to greet customers with an hello or a smile.. Read moremy one star review is because i have been coming to this new location almost daily for a month i am allergic to tomatoes and i had ordered a pizza a few weeks ago and they put no sauce on it for me the employees were super helpful and friendly i decided last night 8/21/23 i wanted a pizza on my cheat day since i had a coupon in the app and was having a party with some of my friends when i ordered the pizza i put special order and when i told the cashier i needed no tomato sauce because i was allergic he went and told his manager and they told me they wouldn’t be making it with out sauce for me anymore this was at about 11.20pm so there was really no huge crowd and this wouldn’t be a issue if they didn’t advertise that they have a option to make it a special order so my suggestion to wawa would be don’t advertise something and then not follow threw with it on top of this i did not leave the store until after midnight so i waited over 40 minutes for them to make a fast food pizza and i could clearly hear the manager in the back complaining about it the whole time i have worked in customer service retail as a assistant manager for 5 years and never heard of such terrible customer service i won’t be returning if i can’t get the order i need as advertised such...
