One day, I was in this area of Orange all day, so I ended up eating three meals at this Wendy's location: breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
The 12 volt socket in my vehicle was broken, therefore I was unable to charge any devices inside my vehicle. That morning while eating in the dining area, I noticed the electric outlets on the wall. I politely asked the manager if I could charge my cell phone. The nice lady politely replied yes, so I went to my vehicle to grab my charger. After eating my food and charging for a while, I left and drove away to continue my day.
Later in the day, I was hungry again so I went back to have dinner. After I noticed the second to last customer exiting the dining area, I asked the nearest employee what time they close. He politely replied that the drive through is still open, the dining area is closed, but that I can stay as long as I want because I was already dining inside before they locked the doors. I explained to him that I just wanna stay a bit to charge my phone. He replied no problem.
Several minutes later, a different employee approached me and said that they're closed. I politely replied, "I know. He already told me." But he didn't ask me to leave so I thought that the first employee's approval was fine. Several minutes later, the first employee came back and said that they're actually closed, so I told him that I'm just gonna grab another drink refill then take off. While I was getting my refill, a female employee, probably the night manager, went to my table where my belongings and tray were. I think she was talking to the first employee. I returned to my table after grabbing a refill and she RUDELY told me that I have to leave. I explained to her that I was about to leave right after grabbing a drink refill. I don't think she knew that the first employee told me that it was ok for me to stay. She then RUDELY told me that the electric outlet is not for customers. I then had to explain to her that I dined there that morning and I asked permission from the manager to charge my phone. She RUDELY replied, "That was him." I corrected her by telling her that the nice manager that morning was female. I picked up my belongings and drove off.
Did she assume that because I was charging my phone inside, that I'm homeless and/or poor or something? If so, does she have something against homeless and/or poor people? Just before I walked out the door, the first employee who told me it was ok to stay QUIETLY said sorry.
I ASKED ONE EMPLOYEE WHAT TIME THEIR CLOSING TIME IS. HE SAID IT WAS OK TO STAY. THEN LATER, TWO EMPLOYEES SAID IT WASN'T OK TO STAY. Why different policies from three different employees? They're WORKING THE SAME SHIFT TOGETHER. THEY SHOULD ALL HAVE THE SAME EXACT POLICES.
I dined here three times today. As a loyal customer, I don't appreciate being treated LIKE GARBAGE.
The night shift needs further training in customer service skills...
Read moreI went to this Wendy's to get me and my Dogs something to eat. I ordered a bake Potato for me and 4 .99 cent cheese burgers without condiments or bun and four of the .99 cent chicken patties the same way. The person repeated that they were for my dogs and said just meat and cheese and the chicken the same way. I answered yes. (to explain I have a dog that can't have grain or he'll get sick and the other can eat anything.)
We got back to the house. I opened the bag's with the meat for the dogs and I find that they had given me the chicken correctly but when I opened the bag for the the burgers I found that they had buns. I opened them and they were cold and stale I tried to take the buns off but of course that didn't work with them being stale, the buns were fused to the meat and cheese.
I called the Wendy's up and asked to speak with the manager. He replied that it was him. I gave him my name and asked for his name he only gave me the name ( Saul ) I told him that I thought that we have a training issues and explained what happened. (old stale cold cheese burgers with buns and can't remove the bun) He then informed me that he took my order and the order was correct. I explained that no I ordered no condiments and no buns. He replied that I ordered no condiments but I didn't say anything about the buns. Then he repeated what he told me he said (just meat, cheese and buns and that I agreed with a yes). I tried to explain that I would not of ordered that way because I have a dog that is grain intolerant but he kept speaking. So I told him he was being rude (he said he wasn't) I asked for his district managers number he refused to give it to me but then told me that he will be there at that store tomorrow and I can call him then. The manager needs to be retrained I have never dealt with a manager like this before and never want to again. I will be calling his DM tomorrow and we'll see how that goes. And, NO I will not go there again!!!!!!!

Read moreAs soon as I walked in they gave me the third degree with facial expressions that made me feel uncomfortable to come in and awkward. I felt like all eyes were placing judgment and stigma just on my apparel. When they took my order they acted like they were anticipating for something to happen. Also, people that were supposedly ordering food or picking up for delivery were people that i see everywhere just waiting to do something aggressive, hurtful, and/or exaggerating of the situation. And as I was eating they were whispering amongst each other (between co-workers) and also with upcoming customers (either regulars and/.or people they knew were not regular people "Like undercovers or field agents or informants".
