I just wanted to give a huge Shout Out to Blue Ox Axe Throwing and Lonnie for his incredible care and customer service in getting a Birthday Gift Certificate for my BIL. Lonnie hand delivered the gift card to his front door (ABOVE AND BEYOND) and personalized the presentation! He even provided a little mystery when he delivered the package - enjoying the whole process and making it fun for the recipient. Lonnie was great with setting up a phone call to order the gift certificate and was incredibly gracious on the phone. It's tough to set up a new business in a Pandemic, but with this kind of customer service, Blue Ox will be at the top of it's industry - and who wouldn't want to try Axe Throwing??!!

We went here for a combined bachelor/bachelorette party and it was a blast! We had the whole place to ourselves and it's ADORABLE! The staff are so so nice and taught us how to throw quickly. They also brought out other fun things to throw. In addition, this place has games you can play while throwing which puts it a step above the rest for me, as just throwing at a target can get boring. There is also a bar with good drink options. Reasonably priced too! I'd go back in a heartbeat!

This place was wonderful. Right away for date night, your woman will love it. Their bathroom is beyond immaculate. That's important to the ladies. Their service was already acceptable. And we were already having a great time but the bartender, Milton. He was honestly a cut above. Nothing but helpful and kind. Not just Milton but the whole staff was honestly awesome. But Milton really added to our awesome night. Cant wait to come back

The activity itself is fun. I could see people getting into it, and the projectors they installed provide a really cool way to interact with the sport. The target is projected on the wood you throw the axes, knives, and shuriken into, and you use a mouse to click where you stuck the target. It keeps track of your score, and there are a bunch of different games from which to choose. You throw one sharp object at a time to reduce the risk of injury to said object and yourself, so you do a lot of walking back and forth. You will get your steps in!

As for the atmosphere, get ready to scream. Axes and knives bouncing off steel cages, music, people shouting just hear one another... it's loud. It's also pretty crowded. There were only three of us, but we kept bumping into each other around the table and barrel between us and the bar. The amount of furniture seemed a bit unnecessary, as throwing axes moves pretty fast -- you won't be sitting down a lot unless you plan on sitting out. Maybe take out the long tables and put in a lounge area? The barrels were convenient for setting down drinks and knives.

I was our designated driver, so I can't speak much to the drinks (beer and wine only). Looked like they had a number of NA drinks from which to choose, which is really cool.

Was really hoping they had food! We were pretty hungry by the end of our two hours. Maybe they can work something out with OC Taco next door, kind of like Sizzle Pie and The Hollywood Theater.

What made my experience less than enjoyable was the confusion about the billing. I booked 2 hours online for "3-4 people". That cost me around $150, then they charged me an additional $27, saying it's actually "per person" and saying "yeah, we need to fix the website". We begrudgingly paid, but saw the prices on the wall as we walked out and realized I had paid the correct amount. Refund of the overcharge was re-issued. Mistakes happen, but confusion and haggling over the cost of a buddy's birthday night soured the experience.

What really sealed my decision to never return was the $15 bar tab I ran up for one can of water and three tap waters (again, designated driver). The can of water was $4. I don't recall there being a 375% gratuity button when I closed my tab. Maybe they charged me for the tap? Sort of adds to the frustration of not knowing what I am paying for, so I am unlikely to pay for anything there moving forward.

I hope they can figure out the "problems" with their charges and website soon. Best of...

Went once before and was pretty fun. I would like at least 1 or 2 food options and maybe more beers on tap so that it's more convenient to stay longer. Went again this weekend on a whim which I learned most don't do without making a RESERVATION FIRST! All of the stations were full at the time and were already claimed with reservations from the smart people who thought to do so ahead of time 😄 However, the person working named Milton (oh gosh I think that's what his name was) 100% did his best to try to accommodate my friend and I and our poor planning. He was able to get us a little throwing time in between two reservations which at the time this was perfect for us. We ended up leaving to get food and drinks but decided to try to come back for a real-round. I called and spoke with him on the phone where he was able to make a reservation for us that just so happened to be only a 15-minute wait. The Establishment seems to things clean and organized. I really appreciate any establishment but make sure things are tidy and ready for the people to enjoy themselves. Also, from what I've seen anyone working has been very patient with everyone else who's trying to throw axes, Ninja stars, and knives while intoxicated LOL. We will definitely come back...

Love this place! We'd been here before with some friends about a year ago and had a great time then as well. This time, I wanted to do something out-of-the-box for my daughter's 13th birthday party: bowling, arcade, laser tag, swimming - all those had been done before, but I knew these girls had never gone axe throwing! Although they were intimidated and nervous at first, they ended up having an AMAZING TIME! The projection targets/games added to the fun (Candy Crush, tic tac toe, zombies, etc). You're allowed to bring in your own food/drinks, which was a bonus! The thing that truly made me give this place 5 stars and write a long review was the customer service - I didn't catch his name, but the man who helped us and have the girls lots of pointers was super friendly and helpful. Super laid back vibes and overall a great place to spend an...
