Some of the worst customer service and or professional etiquette we have ever experienced. My wife and I called through Yelp and we tried to make a reservation for Friday for a very special celebration and a very intoxicated and or inebriated male answered the phone. He started laughing and carrying himself as if he had been drinking at a bar for a few hours. We waited until he stopped laughing hysterically and asked a second time to inquire about availability for an upcoming celebration dinner, but he kept on with a very disrepectful attitude and speaking to us as if we were his drinking buddies. He was very disrepectful to my wife and I. We said "No, thank you" and hung up on this person . We then chose to make reservations at a different restaurant.
To Management: This guy sounded as if he was in his 20s or early 30s.
Absolutely no sense of courtesy or professionalism . I truly hope the owner of this establishment reads this very accurate critique of his or...
Read moreThis was the first time I had the pleasure of making it to this restaurant; I was pleased that I did.
The appetizer was a daily special, an arancini not found on the menu. The combination of spices and the marinara sauce complimented the inside and caused our table to order more than one.
The menu offered plenty of options from the land and the sea. In the end my friend talked me into the St. Helen’s Ribeye, and am I glad that he did. Cooked medium rare, served with portobello mushrooms and shallot sauté, seasonal vegetables and house made (delicious) mashed potatoes with a brandy demi-glacé... Every time I thought I needed to stop eating, I kept going (it would be a shame to try and reheat the tender, juicy meat or any of the accompanying accoutrements).
Finished off the meal with a bread pudding that was light and moist and went suspiciously well with the wine we had been drinking.
I cannot wait to make it back to this part of Oregon, so I can...
Read moreThe service was amazing, casual and friendly, they made sure we are happy with the dishes ordered and were well communicative. We had a table outside and a street artist played a beautiful saxophone all through dinner which was truly magical! lAnd now to the most important thing, the food! was lovely! we had all tapas dishes, clams with wine were amazing! polenta was fantastic! calamri smashing calamari! focaccia was really good but it was disappointing to see that they serve the same sauce as the one of the polenta on the focaccia.. I mean there are so many ways to serve focaccia. than we had a refreshing salad with goat cheese and caramelized nuts which was perfect! the desserts were also real nice. A huge bread pudding which was yammi and a cream brulle which was really nice, I just prefer the carmalized sugar to be really really thin than how it was.. for the rest I would definitely recommend it and will be...
