I'm going to start off with positives first before I do anything else. The only reason I am not giving a one star is because of Tanniel. That lady, if she is not manager level, she needs to be asap. She constantly greeted us with such warm feeling. She was incredibly kind and friendly. She made everything so personable and whenever we needed something she was super kind and quick. She was absolutely a breath of fresh air.
Another plus was that the breakfast food, not bad at all. They had waffles and bagels/toast every day. And then the hot items were different every day and they were pretty good for most part and having the option to switch up breakfast options each morning was really nice.
Now sadly, onto the negative. We arrived super late due to our plane being delayed. We had already paid in full prior to arrival. When we arrive we are told we have to pay $50 per night (and for us that was $350 out of pocket we had to pay) for "just in case damages happen" and it'll get returned after check out. We were like what? No one told us anything about that at all, and the guys only response was "sorry it's policy" and even though by the time we got up to our room it was like 10 minutes to midnight, we still had to pay $50 for that which is just absolutely mind blowing. They say it's in policy...sorry folks...their policies are listed on their website and it says absolutely nothing about a "just in case damages happen". Absolutely nothing listed.
They also charge you $12 a day for parking because the parking lot doesn't belong to them, so instead of fluctuating the room prices, they just make the residents pay more. And the funny thing about it all is, is they make you pay for parking but have signs all in the parking lot saying you basically park at your own risk and assume all risk? So its like if I'm parking at my own risk, why on earth am I paying you for parking?
You want decent wifi? Unless you decide to give them information to "become a member" you will get "meh" quality of wifi. If you don't become a member and are there for longer than 7 days? They will charge you $4.95 a day.
They are seriously insanely money hungry and it's ridiculous.
The two other girls, Kayleigh and the other girl (can't remember her name, but they look similar) those two are in the wrong line of work. Everytime we saw them, the looks on their faces seemed like just didn't want to be bothered and that they hated their jobs. No smiles, no friendly gestures, nothing. We called the front desk Friday (4-11-2025) evening to complain about the people above us, because it sounded like a damn stampede for hours on end. And the girl working, her response wasn't "oh I'm sorry about that let me get that taken care of" it was a sigh and her saying "okay, well let me see if they will keep it down" and she was like annoyed because she had to work or something. Only to call our room back and say she allegedly spoke to them (I don't think she did because the people above us kept at it for another hour or two) and asked us if we wanted to be moved? Like why would we have to be moved because someone else is causing a disturbance? She had no remorse or anything?
There was a room a couple doors down who's dog constantly kept barking. And nothing was done. It was all super stressful.
If you prefer firmer beds....don't go here, the beds are beyond soft, you sit and you sink into them. The pillows are even worse. Might as well sleep without them. We couldn't wait to get back home to our own stuff.
They have a huge sign in their lobby basically saying they strive for greatness and if you are not happy with your stay, then the night is on them....such a lie. That's just a sign to make upper management happy.
They just want your money folks.
And give Tanniel a raise or a promotion, she was the only incredible worker there. And she is the only reason I gave a 2 star for this review. More of your workers need to take...
Read moreOverall this is a decent offering by the likes of Hilton who seem to have a usual standard of quality, "Embassy Suites, Hampton Inn, Hilton Gardens, Home 2 Suites, Homewood Suites, and the dreaded double tree by Hilton."
Home 2 Suites offers a fully operational mid sized refrigerator, dishwasher, dishes & utensils, Coffee maker, toaster, Comfortable Bed, Cooktop is Provided upon request (Unfortunately they have had no pots and pans for the entirety of the two and a half weeks we have stayed here so far)
From what I hear this location opened up earlier than expected and wasn't properly stocked or prepared for full time busy and I'm actually aware it's only about 4-6 months of age.
The rooms are relatively modern, the beds hit that sweet spot between firm and soft allowing for a comfortable sleep experience.
We have had some concerns and issues with some of our neighbors on the fifth floor being loud with music/tv or conversations loud enough to hear them towards the elevators.
Seems also look Le fifth floor has tons of people slamming doors late-late into the night and it can get rather frustrating.
We asked the desk if they could check the camera either last night or the night before last due to an abnormal amount of slamming coming from hallway walls or our door we aren't quite sure which.
We were told by night staff who happened to be working that shift that she had no way to access the cameras and did not seemed to care that either the hallway or our door was being slammed on repeatedly throughout the night which is somewhat of a safety concern although there doesn't seem to be any unsavory individuals in still isn't pleasant to have that happen more than five times in the middle of the night from nine to four in the morning.
They have free hot breakfast which is changed up ever so slightly each day and there's also everyday staples such as cereal, make em yourself waffles and oatmeal, bread, bagels and toast.
The facilities are extremely clean and rooms are very nice with an Extremely Exceptional Television Set up that is rather exquisite and superior to some of Hilton's other locations which charge far more in terms of price.
They have a workout room which also has a laundry facility tucked off to the side.
There are security cameras present as well as fast elevators a pool and a fire pit outside the front which you may choose to start and turn off for yourselves.
Laundry rooms appear to have 2 of it's 3 washers out of order this morning as we had checked to get our two loads of laundry done but unfortunately the one open machine happened to be full and I'm use.
It appears that at least 2 of the 3 dryers were in functional working order though.
Gave the location five stars because it is modern, extremely well valued in its pricing and overall staff seem friendly and willing to help outside of the noisy fifth floor and the banging on our hallway/bathroom wall and our door specifically multiple times throught the night on a couple of nights and the inability for the night worker to check the security camera to let us know if we had need be concerned was rather a shock point.
Overall though this location still musters in a four stars from me in terms of what you get for your dollar here, and several of the other...
Read moreThe hotel is well-located, with clean and comfortable rooms. However, staffing at the front desk appears to be a recurring issue. On two separate occasions, once when registering our car and again during checkout, we were left waiting for extended periods. During checkout, we stood at the front desk for over five minutes before a cleaner noticed us and had to call someone to assist. This lack of coverage suggests the property may be understaffed, and it contributed to a sense of disorganization and neglect that no guest should have to experience.||The more serious concern occurred the day after check-in, when we needed to register our car. We waited over ten minutes while the front desk agent was checking in another guest. Due to a time-sensitive situation, I approached the desk to ask if I could return shortly to complete the process. The staff member appeared unwilling to understand the urgency of the request and responded with visible frustration and dismissiveness.||The situation escalated unnecessarily when the manager later came to our room, visibly upset, and accused me of “attacking” his staff, “cutting the line,” and “slamming” a piece of paper on the desk - none of which occurred. I calmly explained multiple times that his account was inaccurate, but he seemed more intent on defending his employee than listening to a guest. His tone was accusatory and unprofessional. Only after my husband intervened did the manager de-escalate and offer complimentary parking, which we appreciated, but the damage had already been done.||We’ve stayed in well over a hundred hotels around the world and have never encountered a situation like this. I am known for being respectful, kind, and considerate, so being mischaracterized as aggressive was deeply disconcerting. We were treated with hostility and misjudgement not once, but twice. We understand that hotel staff may occasionally deal with difficult guests, but to treat all guests with suspicion and aggression is thoroughly unprofessional, and undermines the very essence of hospitality.||For the remainder of our stay, we avoided the lobby and common areas, despite having paid to be there. We did not feel welcome or safe after the interaction, due to the behavior of the staff. There is a clear need for staff training at this property, particularly in empathy, communication, and conflict resolution. We will not be returning, but we sincerely hope that management reflects on this experience and takes meaningful steps to ensure future guests are treated with the respect and professionalism...
