Worked there myself, most of the crew was friendly.. It seems like an easy job and trust me , it is. But some some orders were different from the other. I would have given 5 stars because the pizza is amazing and worth getting, but as I said, MOST crew was friendly. I no longer work there, and I been wanting to do a review for myself, but didn’t have the time... Rosie seemed like an okay person at the time of starting but there were times that I would either forget double check things, she got a little rude about it, and there’s some other reason why I say she’s a little rude, I got along with everyone else I worked with because I talk to them the way I wanted to be treated. But the things that the customers see and hear in the front are sometimes different in the back. There was the good days and the bad days, you got decent hours and very few crew members only get 2 hours. And I don’t think that’s legal because you are supposed to have more then 3 hours. Again as I said, the food is worth getting, but thanks to Rosie, she made me realize that working at Papa Murphy’s wasn’t for me. I just wish there was better communication on things. After 6 or 7 months of not working there I decided it’s time for the review. Oh and I only remember a couple ppl that I worked with there but Grant and Chloe are 2 of the best employees there, hope they at least get treated good. Also, at the time of me quitting, each employee is given a $25 free pizza coupon card. Within the last couple weeks of my shifts of working there I have earned to. The day of me quitting, I was going in to go pick up the two pizza cards that I have earned for working there, I was going to use them on December 19 for my brothers birthday. The two ladies at the register both have said if you don’t work here anymore you don’t get the pizza cards. I said well that’s not what Rosie said. So they called Rosie and they talk to her, Rosie told them that I will only have one week to use both of them. To me, I figured if I worked the shifts that I was given, and I showed up on time and everything, I earned them. So they shouldn’t be able to decline given...
Read moreI had a fabulous experience at this fine establishment.. Not only was the pizza delicious & loaded with toppings (so many places skimp) the customer service was exceptional!!
MADISON & BRYAN were soooo helpful and friendly even when I was running late, got lost & showed up near to closing/closed by the time I left. I know from experience, how frustrating it can be in food service when there’s that one customer who holds up the whole store closing & makes everyone stay past late..
Anyway, I’m new to the area & directionally challenge, these 2 ingredients combined w/ the confusion of Sunnyside Rd having 2 similar shopping centers w/in a mile of one another is a recipe for disaster by itself.. so of course I went to the wrong one.. Even though Ryan gave me perfect directions including landmarks, after taking my order on the phone, I still managed to go to the wrong place.
I called them after I drove around for 10-15min @ the wrong complex since it was 5min from closing, to tell them, “I’m still coming just lost”.. A lot of places would have been frustrated & rude and even said “we’ll be closed by the time u get here & you’re out of luck”.. But Madison & Ryan being the superstar employees they are, did the complete opposite; they stayed on the phone w/ me until I FINALLY found the store.. VICTORY!! When I went into the store, I was so embarrassed & felt horrible for holding them up but they made me welcomed and it was no big deal! They were so friendly, you would have never have know I was holding them up. They even took the time to answer a couple questions as I ha d a coupon for a free side which I didn’t know what the options were.. They told me each one & what the best choice is.. etc
It seems like a fairly small situation in the scheme of things but this saying sums the experience up perfectly, “it’s the small things in life that matter,” There’re kindness, helpfulness & understanding, is hard to find these days.
Ryan & Madison THANK YOU for the delicious pizzas, fantastic customer service & most of all helping me believe in humanity again! Good job guys & keep saving the world one pizza...
Read moreI have been going to Clackamas, OR Papa Murphy's location, since moving to the Clackamas area back in 2001. Some years I had gone more often, some years less. EVERY time I've gone PRIOR to today, this location has ALWAYS, without ANY issue, allowed me to redeem a coupon on the pizza, as well as one to get a free cheesy bread or cookie dough. Today, July 15, 2017, at a few minutes after 5PM, I walked in to order a pizza and cookie dough. The cashier stated he didn't believe he could accept both coupons. I stated, while it's been a while since I had last been here, I've always been allowed to do this without ANY issue for years. He then proceeds to ask the manager, Mike. Mike states, "We've NEVER allowed this." While Mike didn't explicitly call me a liar, the fact that he was VERY adamant that NEVER has it been allowed, yet I have successfully without fail, been able to do this some times 3x/week, sometimes once every 3-months... I took it as a attack on my character. If he were to have stated, "Sorry sir, while it MAY have been allowed in the past, it simply is not allowed now", OK, fair enough -- things change. But again, I viewed it as (a) him calling me a liar, and (b) ridiculous as again I've been able to do this forever!
Needless to say, Mike has resulted in my NEVER going to patron this Papa Murphy's, and possibly and any other Papa Murphy's...
