Six Corners Cafe is a Hidden Breakfast and Lunch Gem!
If you’re searching for a cozy spot that serves a fantastic breakfast or lunch, look no further than Six Corners Cafe. Tucked away at the intersection of Beaverton-Hillsdale Hwy, Scholls Ferry Rd, and SW Dogwood Lane, this charming little restaurant is a hidden gem that deserves all the praise.
During a recent visit, my wife and I were treated to a delightful breakfast that exceeded our expectations. My wife opted for the biscuits and gravy, which were nothing short of spectacular. The biscuits were fluffy and buttery, smothered in a rich, savory sausage gravy that had just the right amount of seasoning. Paired with a side of crispy hashbrowns and perfectly cooked bacon, it was a hearty and satisfying meal that left her raving about it long after we left.
I decided to try the special of the day: Apple Strudel French Toast. Let me tell you, it was phenomenal! The French toast was thick and fluffy, infused with the warm flavors of cinnamon and nutmeg. The apple strudel filling added a delightful sweetness, and the dish was topped with a dusting of powdered sugar and after I added a drizzle of maple syrup it brought everything together beautifully. Each bite was a heavenly combination of textures and flavors that made for an unforgettable breakfast experience.
The atmosphere at Six Corners Cafe is comfortable, warm and inviting, with friendly staff who made us feel right at home. Despite its small size, the cafe has a charm that makes it a perfect spot for a leisurely breakfast or brunch.
In conclusion, Six Corners Cafe is a must-visit for anyone in the area looking for a delicious breakfast. With standout dishes like the Bacon Waffle and the Apple Strudel French Toast, this hidden treasure is sure to become a favorite for my family. We can’t wait to return and explore more of their menu, and I would strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a great breakfast resturaunt in the...
Read moreMy friend and I dined here on the morning of 4/21. I was hoping we were in an episode of “What Would You Do” because it truly felt like we were being tested on how we would respond if we were completely ignored and given 0 hospitality. We stood forever in the doorway with the 3 servers ignoring us and when they finally cleared one of the open tables, the gentleman yelled with indifference “does anyone want this table” (because now there were 2 other parties that came in behind us). We sat down, he threw 2 menus on the table, didn’t acknowledge us and went to clear another table. He came back about 10 min later and asked what we wanted. He took our order which included us ordering coffee. He didn’t bring us our coffee for another 10 or more minutes. Meanwhile, he’s talking with his co-workers, clearing tables or filling up other patrons coffees. It truly seemed like he was looking anywhere except at us. It felt almost comical we were so ignored. It took forever for us to get our meal. It was basically handed to us like he gave us our menu. We had our coffee topped off once, but it took forever to have him drop the check off. I was a server in the past so I understand how hard it can be on a Sunday morning, but this felt different. This felt like we were not wanted there and we should be thankful that we were being served. My regret for this experience is that we didn’t walk out when we felt the vibe when we walked in the door. Trust your gut. Unless you have nothing but time on your hands and enjoy being treated like we were and you live in hope that John Quiñones is going to come around the corner to tell you that this is all just a TV show and the servers are just actors and we wanted to see how you would respond if you were treated like crap for something you are paying for and on top of that tip your server for treating you this way, I would spend my...
Read moreWe’ve heard a lot of good things about this cafe and we were super excited to try it. We walked in and they were pretty filled up but had a few open tables and 3 servers walking around. We stood in the door for a few minutes, not sure if we needed to seat ourselves or not, and someone finally acknowledged us and said we could take the empty table. We sat down and started reading through menus and bantered for a bit. No one had come by to say hi yet, but we weren’t in a rush so it was fine. A little over 20 min went by (yes, actually 20 min not an over exaggerated 20min) and we were getting a little restless. A table that had come in and sat after us already had water and coffee and we got frustrated...rightly so. The male server finally come over, and without apologizing or acknowledging that we had been waiting for a while just said “what do you want”...we were all visibly a bit taken back by the aggressively toned question. And we all said “coffee please” and he responded with “yeah, and what else?”. We got up and left after he walked away. This was unacceptable and being rude to your customers is no way to run a business. We weren’t in a rush or demanding, we just wanted to be acknowledged. A simple “hi! I’m a bit busy but I’ll be with you when I can” would have been perfectly acceptable. Acknowledgement goes a LONG way in the world of customer service and I recommend practicing that with...
