(OWNER SCROLL TO BOTTOM)
Coffee is not good 😞
So cute inside that’s for sure! The owners did a good job making this a beautiful space inside, it’s nicely decorated.
I was was hoping the coffee would be good. I was willing to look past the almost impossible parking. But I got my coffee and…… ew.
The latte was gorgeous, and it was perfectly poured but it tasted pretty bad. The aftertaste was very bitter (perhaps burned?), and the coffee itself was very weak and it barely tasted sweet, so it tasted most like plain steamed milk with a very weird aftertaste. Believe me when I tell you everything in this place is beautiful, but I went there for coffee not for the decor.
There was minimal seating available, which I guess is good because that means that there were customers. The place is not very big though.
All of the tables seem to be taken by about 10 AM and it seems like people had claimed their spot for the morning so it probably wouldn’t be an ideal place to meet a client, especially not a new client, for coffee or anything like that anytime after 10 AM. You’ll struggle with parking and the coffee won’t make a good impression. It will literally leave them with a bad taste in their mouth and that’s not how I would want to be remembered. I definitely wouldn’t take family from out of town there either.
I don’t believe there was any ambient music. It was just kind of silent and we didn’t get a good reception.
It was our first time there and we didn’t see where to stand to order at first, so we were waiting in line behind the wrong person while the gal that was going to take our orders just stood there and looked at us lol I guess we must’ve looked pretty stupid but a little direction or help goes along way for first time customers.
Unfortunately, we will probably be last time customers. There’s no where to park nor sit and the coffee was actually so bad. So bad 😵💫
Dear owner, You’re correct. I certainly did not wait all this time to post my review. Anytime a change/edit is made on an existing review, like this one from winter, Google automatically updates the review date and places the “new” review back at the top of your Google reviews, (you’ll notice this review is now going to have today’s date on it).
If only your coffee skills were as sharp as your sticker making skills and detective work 🙃 it could be an...
Read moreI discovered The Coffee Shop last year. Although the coffee and food were quite expensive, the place had a unique, comforting atmosphere that made it worth the visit — or so I thought.
Today, however, that impression was completely shattered. I ordered a coffee and a breakfast sandwich, as I usually do, and told the cashier I’d be dining in. They gave me a number, and I took a seat. After a while, I went up to the counter to get my coffee, but my sandwich never arrived. I waited around 30–45 minutes before deciding to check with the staff, thinking perhaps they’d forgotten due to the busy hours.
When I approached the counter and politely asked, the cashier responded in an unnecessarily rude tone: “If you have a number, we’ll bring it to your table. Just sit down and wait.” The attitude and tone were dismissive and uncalled for. I briefly considered canceling my order and leaving, but decided to stay — everyone can have a bad day, after all.
About 15 minutes later (nearly an hour in total), the same cashier came to my table and, hands on hips and again in a condescending tone, said: “Your sandwich has been waiting on the counter — why didn’t you check?” as if I was the one who made a mistake. I asked if it could be remade or reheated, as it was likely cold by then. They rolled their eyes, said “ok” and walked off.
A few minutes later, they returned with the sandwich and practically slammed it onto the table without saying a word, clearly frustrated.
Mistakes can happen. Staff can have off days. But blaming the customer and responding with such arrogance and disrespect is completely unacceptable.
I don’t think I’ll be returning. The atmosphere I once appreciated now feels spoiled. I don’t want to spend that kind of money just to be treated poorly and leave feeling worse than when I came in.
I sincerely hope they address this behavior and treat future customers with...
Read moreI’m so glad we stumbled on this spot. We tried the Dogwood sandwich (cheddar, avocado, egg, and pickled onions) and an egg & cheese breakfast burrito. Both were fresh, healthy, and genuinely delicious without being heavy. For drinks, I went with the Mr. Olingo latte (honey, chocolate, and cinnamon), and it was exactly how a signature drink should be: unique, balanced, and still letting the coffee shine through. We also shared a fruit smoothie with mixed berries, pineapple, and peach that was bright, refreshing, and not overly sweet. The space itself is what makes me want to come back again and again. There’s plenty of seating inside with natural light pouring through the windows, sturdy wooden chairs and tables, and even board games if you want to linger. The vibe is cozy but not cramped, with soft indie music playing in the background. Outdoors, there’s shaded seating with umbrellas and plenty of nearby parking, which makes it convenient too. Between the food, drinks, and the atmosphere, this place nails it. Definitely my new go-to coffee stop...
