Went in on Saturday evening for a few sandwiches, chips and cookies. They young lady working was super nice, accommodating, happy to help me, we talked about her son and mother and how they went on a trip to Europe as she was making my sandwiches. She unsold my choices which is great for the business owner, she eagerly suggested cookies and chips, I said ok. Being a Director of a Food & Beverage for a corporate hotel group I know amazing service when I experience it. I should have gotten the ladies name, however it been a long day and I wanted to get home. The only thing that bothered me was not being able to tip her for her service, I didn’t have any cash on me, she said it’s ok, don’t worry about it. Well I am, it doesn’t take much for a business downer or store leader to contact merchant services and have them walk you through setting up a tip option on your terminal. When sourcing hard working individuals it’s critical you set your team up for success, which also includes financial bonuses that guests tend to leave for good service. I sure hope you read your reviews and take it upon yourself to change this policy and call your bank and add tipping to credit card purchases. This little bit extra can mean a lot for some team members! I know when I’ve seen adds for subway, in the company adds for employment is says hourly plus tips, limiting tips because you don’t have updated or team focused policies in place effects peoples lively hoods! I can’t imagine working for a place that serves food and doesn’t accept tips via cc for whatever reason! It’s an easy fix, I hope the next time I come in I’m asked if I’d like to leave a tip! Other locations do this by the way! However I’d love to continue to support your location because of the exceptional customer service we always get. Especially whoever was working January, 4th at 6:10pm. I Almost offered her a job! People like this are hard to come by. Support them and come up with recourses that our money in both of...
Read morei go to this subway a lot since i live right next to it. i never ever have problems with the staff or service or anything. but there’s this one worker there that seems to be bothered by the world the two times i’ve seen her. n i never expect subway to have top notch service bc like it’s subway- never gonna be perfect. but after i was done ordering my sandwich i ordered a churro-which i had never tried before so that tells you I had no knowledge on how their churro process works- the churros i’ve ordered from other places before-they’re always ready n out there by the time i order so i thought it was something they would already have out. so when i order it- the girl makes a loud scuff/sigh sound-clearly annoyed that i was ordering a churro… expecting me to know i was suppose to order it before my sandwich… but again… if i’ve never had it before… how tf am i suppose to know that? that’s the problem with these people sometimes is they expect you to know their work policies n rules n the way things work n if you don’t then you’re the one that’s in the wrong… like she totally made me feel like i was in the wrong for ordering-bc after, she confronts me about it. (and mind you i’ve worked in retail/customer service/the food service for 7 years now. so i get that feeling of being annoyed at somebody who doesn’t get our policy or something-but i never take it out on them- but you could tell by the fake /petty professional customer service voice she used-she was definitely clearly annoyed about this little thing that also literally took 30 seconds to warm up.) she goes “just next time let us know you’re gonna order the churro beforehand because we have to make it” made me feel so weird n felt like i had done something wrong when rly she didn’t even need to say anything- she’s just clearly mad at something or hates her job that much so she felt the need to take it out on me lol...
Read moreWhen I went in around 5:00 I was the only customer in the restaurant. The lady behind the counter was making a single sandwich very, v e r y slowly. Her co-worker left to take a break. I waited what felt like an eternity for her to finish, she thanked me for my patience and started to work on my order. As my sandwich was toasting the phone rang. She answered, took the sandwich out of the oven, and gave me the "one minute" finger. She was on the phone for 4-5 minutes, with my half-finished sandwich sitting on the counter, when her co-worker returned from break. I had been there almost 20 minutes by that time. The co-worker stated to the customer behind me that her break was not over but she was going to help me because I had been waiting so long. The other customer would have to wait for the lady on the phone to finish. She was still on the phone when I left the restaurant. Several minutes later as I was eating in my car the other customer walked out without food. I'm assuming she left because she was still waiting to be served.
I was thanked for my patience (because I had already waited an unnecessary amount of time) and then I was made to wait again while someone who called in while my sandwich was in progress was helped. My order should have been finished while the customer on the phone...
