We ordered takeout from here a few weeks ago and absolutely loved it, so we decided to go back and dine in.. it was disappointing. At first, I thought the customer service was great because they were so quick and attentive as we walked in the door, but that changed. We placed an order for a Margherita pizza and some breadsticks. After 45 minutes of waiting, we still hadn’t gotten our appetizer nor or pizza. They had to ask us what our order was again and clearly they hadn’t even started it yet. They gave us the appetizer, which came with a tiny cup of marinara sauce that wasn’t even enough to use for all the breadsticks. Then our pizza finally came, we ordered the same pizza as we did for take out so we were pumped since it was previously delicious. Well.. they gave us a cheese pizza not a margarita pizza. When we reminded them the third time what we had ordered, they came back and placed some cold tomato and withered Basil strings on top of it. Disappointing to say the least. What was the most disappointing of the whole experience was the lack of care from the staff. Not once did they apologize for the delay or the mistake in the order, I understand that they were trying out a new system but with the amount of employees that were present at the restaurant, the lack of attentiveness to customers and detail was inexcusable. The two stars are for the take out pizza, because it was truly amazing, sadly, consistency is lacking. I truly hope they make improvements because they have the potential to offer a quality pizza in the area.
Edit: emailed them immediately after their response and still haven’t heard back in what will almost...
Read moreYou know, being from New York, this place used to bring me good memories... until today! I don’t usually write reviews, specially negative ones!! But today’s experience just blew my mind!!! After going there for a few years now, I don’t think I could ever set foot in there again. My family and I run and own a well known established business in the area and we have learned a thing or two about customer service. Also no matter how good the food is, if you’re not treated respectfully, it will put a really bitter taste in your mouth, quickly! In all the experience we have had in the food industry, I would never ask a customer to move seats because of cleaning duties that can be taken care of during non-business hours. Specially when it can be hazardous and not to mention disgusting if it were to fall on your plate. On top of that, I wouldn’t be disrespectful to the customer when you’re trying to find an excuse for having to awkwardly ask or advice a customer to move because of having to do cleaning duties while your eating a slice of pizza. Sounds so petty but that’s why you go to these eateries... to take a load off and relax for a minute. Not have to worry about a guy with a messy ponytail trying to kick you out because you spoke your mind and stood your ground. I felt bad for the guy cleaning because I could tell he didn’t want to come over and tell me to move or just deal with the fact that he was cleaning the black soot from the air duct right above me! I would blame poor management if this place isn’t around for much longer. Calling out the guy with the ponytail... he’ll crash that business single handily!!...
Read moreThis place was amazing and authentic, for Utah, to be called NY style a year ago. It was our go to for great pizza. Now, it has become forgetable. We loved the marinated olives. Ordered some a month ago and they were not the same, nasty lackluster flavor. The pizza was also a bland miss which I assumed we just didn't order the right one and was forgiving. Ordered a margarita last night with cheese stick, neither impressed. Cheese stick was waxy bland cheese over flavorless bread. The pizza? An insult to Italians, New York and couldn't be called a margarita. IMO the greatness of this pizza is the simplicity but burst of flavor. This was a filled of just to fill your stomach. Too much cheap waxy cheese with no flavor. The sauce was red but that's all that resembled sauce. The tomatoes were not ripe, and its' summer tomato season! (which there are ways to manipulate the fruit to pull flavor out) They were colorless, flavorless and were hard....yes hard. Then I asked for some additional pepper, because I needed something with a flavor, and they charged for plastic condiment cup. I get things cost money, but really? I should have traded the bad cheese bread in exchange for the peppers because I just wanted some flavor somewhere. I hope, I really hope that these guys can turn the corner and get back to what they were over a year ago when you they were worth the dive and money spent. two strikes, I don't think I can stomach a third chance. Come on guys, do be just another pizza filler, be the amazing...
