Thirty minutes after the time our pizza was to be delivered, it had yet to show up at our home, so I called Mountain Mike's asking where our food might be. They insisted that they had delivered it to our home, but, inconsistently, they also insisted that the reason they delivered it to the wrong house was because there was an "n/a" in the address field for an apartment number. I don't live in a neighborhood where there are any apartments. (Edit: it occurs to me after the fact that neither the driver nor his manager understands that the very commonly used abbreviation "n/a" means "not applicable." Nevertheless, I don't understand how that would result in the driver delivering my pizza to an address several houses away from mine.)
After several frustrating minutes speaking with a very impatient manager who began our conversation in a very confrontational manner and only escalated from there, I gave up hoping for help from her and ended up walking around my neighborhood knocking on each door until I tracked down my own food. It turns out they had delivered it to the wrong house (my house number is #186—they delivered it to #175). Luckily, I have excellent neighbors, and they immediately handed over my food, untouched. I am grateful I was able to find the food I paid for, but I do not trust that I will ever be able to purchase from Mountain Mike's again as the person I spoke with was so short and accusatory with me, that I will never again feel like I can trust Mountain Mike's to treat me fairly going forward. (I'm not quite sure what I was being accused of, but she firmly blamed me for her driver's mistake.)
I do regret that after 15 minutes of being accused of sabotaging my own dinner plans, and with no sign at all that the person I was speaking with was going to help me, I did lose my patience enough to let a commonly used curse word slip out—it wasn't directed to the person I was speaking to, but I do regret using it. It was rude and uncalled for. And I am sorry for that.
Fortunately, the quality of the food here is...just...fine. So it's not a terrible loss not to be able to order from them again. It was convenient, but not convenient enough to justify my worrying that I will not be treated fairly...
Read moreNicole waited on us at the register while we were ordering our pizza. She was very knowledgeable about what they served. It was our first time there and she helped us out with our decision making since I had three teenagers ranging from 19 to 16 and they were discussing amongst themselves what pizza they wanted. It was actually me that had the hard time choosing because I wanted a vegetarian pizza but I don't like mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, you get the idea. So Nicole suggested that I do a three topping 6 in pizza. That worked out really great for me because I still got vegetarian options and I didn't break the bank. Then when my son was playing pinball or he wanted to play Pinball and his coins got stuck Nicole helped him to get the machine working by giving him a couple more quarters and showing him the right slot that worked (the other slot was jammed and she didn't have a key). They make their pizza dough fresh everyday and I could tell I really enjoy my pizza and my teens really enjoyed their Pizza too. Everyone was happy with their food. We even got a little basket of Mini Churros and they were good! I highly recommend this place for a fresh pizza! Oh and Tuesdays from 2:00 to 5:00 is all you can eat I...
Read moreMy order was overcooked you can tell on the pictures that it was burnt. The meat was charred and did not taste good at all. Won’t be ordering from this location anymore, since we’ve had problems with them before.
I didn’t bother calling because last time they messed up our order and promised we’d get free wings they didn’t deliver. We had placed an order for their 24 piece buffalo wings and got the plain instead, it was almost closing time so we were unable to go back to get them replaced. When we called the employee spoke to the manager which approved free wings next time we ordered and they promised to write our name down.
Well we called to place an order a week or 2 after they had messed up our older order hoping we could get what we were promised but when I explained the situation to the employee they placed us on hold so many times and finally when we spoke to a manger they said our name was not written down and said they could not give us the free wings because it was the 24 piece. We didn’t argue, and decided to not place an order that day.
They could really improve on their service because it’s...
