Thai Evergreen — Restaurant in Orem

Disappointed but I don’t like leaving 1 star ratings.

If you have a food allergy or just want your food slightly customized, this might not be your spot. Sadly after years of eating here I have to retire from Thai Evergreen after this is the third time in a row I have ordered something with a customization with no luck and the same results… 0/3.

The worst part is, when I went back to pick up my “retry” order they (she the cook (The male waiter had excellent customer service skills)) gave me a really hard time and wanted to charge me half because I didn’t ring the old one with me after throwing it out. They wanted me to leave and go get it and come back making that a 3rd trip to the location in the same 30 minutes. Not my cup of tea.

Even after showing a picture that my daughter took retrieving it from the garbage, there was still denial that a mistake was made and they wanted to charge me half for a new one or to retrieve the old one and bring it back the next day.. Pretty wild.

Unfortunately that is was my last attempt to try to salvage my love for this place. Sometimes it’s just best to let go. In for recommendation for a new great Thai food place in south Orem. Gonna miss this place, but that kind of service just...

SHE WAS SO FAST WITH GETTING MY ORDER AND BRINGING OUT MY DRINKS, MIND YOU IT WAS ME AND 13 OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS! BUT SHE HAD MY DRINKS OUT BEFORE I COULD EVEN THABK HER FOR HER GREAT SERVICE🖤 THAT WAS ONLY THE BEGINNING OF HOW GREAT HER SERVICE WAS. THERE WAS NOT ONE EMPTY DRINK IN THE WHOLE BIULDING! I DROPPED MY FORK AND BY THE TIME I HAD IT PICKES UP, SHE WAS WALKING OVER TO HAND NE A NEW ONE! LOVE THE SERVICE! LOVE THE FOOD! LOVE THE LOCATION! BEAT THAI FOOD I HAVE EVER HAD, ABD THAI IS MY FAVORITE TO EAT. SO I HAVE EATEN EVERYWHERE. Their dishes our 100% authentic, and I mean come on have you tried their Pad Thai? It's Beyond Delicious! This restaurant is always the go to when looking to eat out. They have so many dishes to choose from that you can never get bored. Everytime I eat there they have continued to grow with greater and greater qualities!...

We ate lunch here this afternoon and had a pretty unimpressive experience. The “mild” curry I had asked for was so spicy it was almost inedible. The portion for the lunch special was really small, not at all what other Thai restaurants in the area have as their lunch specials. The service was also some of the poorest I have ever received. It took maybe 15 minutes to order when there were only two other occupied tables. I ordered a mild curry and got medium. Was also told they couldn’t accommodate for a food allergy. They never once refilled our water or asked how the food was. We had planned to order dessert, but since no one ever came back we decided to skip it and get out of there. When we were finished we waited for someone to bring our check and finally just stood at the register to get someone to help us.
