Peppo's Great Sub Sandwiches — Restaurant in Orland Township

First time trying this place. We intended carry out but were glad to eat in because of the clean modern sunny environment, and thanks to the friendly, quick staff. I got pastrami, pepperoni, provolone, garlic guts. Fresh thinly sliced but abundant meat, just enough cheese to still look elegant, toasted just enough for crispness but not ruin the ingredients (it's a fine line!). Oil and vinegar dressing added flavor and moisture without soaking (another fine line) The garlic guts are a refreshing side. Some gets poured on the sandwich, some gets eaten with a spoon. I can’t say enough good things about Peppos in Orland Park. I’m so glad they’re here and I can have Peppos anytime instead of when I’m randomly in Palos - which is never these days. Much better location IMO. Peppos really leveled up. The space is awesome - inside outside and clean. Staff was super friendly when I walked in. It looked like some maybe new people were being trained but service was great all smiles and attentive. I wouldnt listen to other reviewers they literally just opened. My family has been going to the original Peppo’s since my mom was a kid. We unfortunately had a loss in the family, and catering Peppo’s subs was a no-brainer since it was a favorite of my Aunt’s (and the Orland location was close). Dimitri (and a woman whose name I didn’t catch) was so kind and took a lot of care to help load everything into the car to make sure it wouldn’t slide or topple.
