Taco Bell — Restaurant in Orland Township

Currently fifteen minutes into waiting for two soft tacos. Trapped in the drive through. Not the first time. The other day when I came, there was literally just nobody inside mid afternoon. Worst of all, no Verde sauce? C'mon guys.

Edit: silly me went back. Waited 30 minutes and got trapped again for some soft tacos. There was no meat. Because my son was almost asleep in the backseat, I had to go through another grueling 30 minutes, watching the sun go down as I waited for one car in front of me to get their food. Then when I get to the window, after telling them I wanted to return, they leave me alone for another fifteen minutes and ask me to come inside so they won't have to enter the 2 other orders again. Obviously I refused, so another fifteen minutes go by and they ask me AGAIN to come inside. I ask why it's so hard to refund me, and he says "I don't know, it's what my manager says" so I say "okay, let me talk to the manager then."

He turns around and asks the other girl I already told I wouldn't go in. She says "I'm not dealing with this" and leaves me there at the window assuming I'll leave, lol. So eventually I told them to just give me cash and my card back, the whole time they're holding my credit card, and apparently none of them had that idea because a minute later, that's what they did. Only took me a whole hour to not get anything to eat. This place should win a world record for worst fast food staff ever... And I used to work in fast food!

Edit: Something happened. This place is a new place. The man who normally works the drive through now has to be the sweetest man in the city. I am no beauty queen and I am not super personable, but he is still more polite than my kid's teachers or therapists by magnitudes, people I pay to entrust my kid with. He has no reason to be nice other than just being a great guy. He gives my son different freeze flavors for free and for no reason. I don't do anything special. He's going to go very far in life with his attitude.

It's been one trying year for me and being guaranteed a small comfort when I come through for some tacos really matters. A little good gesture can go so much further than you think. If any rich person is looking for somebody to give a big break to, make it this guy. His professionalism is...

ridiculous. i was having a great day and i drove past taco bell and i thought you know what let me go into the drive thru and get some cinnamon delights. so as i pulled into the drive thru, a lady with an attitude talks to me and says “what do you wanna get?” weird. but okay whatever. so i ask “how many pieces of cinnamon delights do you guys serve?” and she replies with “1 or 2”. so i asked can i get 12 pieces of cinnamon delights? and she responds with “i said 1 or 2, uno or dos” now im confused as to why she’s been giving me an attitude so i ask “whyre you giving me an attitude?” and she replies with “i’m not giving you an attitude i said you can have either 1 or 2” so i say okay cancel the order and i reverse out of the drive thru and i head down to another taco bell where i asked the same question “can i get a 12 piece cinnamon delights” and the lady replies with “yes of course!”. look at the difference. i’m so disappointed because i live near this taco bell location and i used to always come in with my friends but ill be sure not to go back in when employees who are too lazy to do their job go around giving customers an attitude. how come the other taco bell employee was so nice? i’m a fast food worker too and i know that some days could be harder than others but ive never given someone an attitude because i’m having a stressful day, at the end of the day it’s not their fault they just want their food and they wanna be on their way and that’s completely understandable. it’s these types of people who ruin a...

Literally the worst Taco Bell I have ever been to the employees are extremely rude their machines magically stop working at night and only allow Uber and online orders this is now the fourth time that I have gone to the Taco Bell and magically their systems just don’t work. If you don’t wanna work then don’t go to work but don’t lie to me and say that your machines are just not working every single night after 10 PM they magically don’t work sounds pretty fishy to me the employees are extremely rude they talk back to you for no reason they make you wait in the drive-through more than five minutes until they decide to say something to you on the speaker I would avoid this Taco Bell at every cost I will drive 20 extra minutes just to get to another Taco Bell before dealing with this Taco Bell again I have never been so disrespected in my life I work in the food industry there’s no reason to treat a person like that.
