Once upon a time, in a kingdom far, far away, there lived two burger gods named Kane and Peter. Their burgers were so legendary that they were known throughout the kingdom and beyond. Their restaurant, Badass Burgers, was the most popular spot for knights and princesses to dine.
One beautiful evening, two sets of couples decided to visit the restaurant. The first couple was knight Joey and his beautiful princess Jacquelynn. They ordered the Eddy burger with a fried egg, and the Marley burger, respectively. The second couple was knight Rudy and his princess, Abby, who both ordered the Eddy burger and the Apocalyptico burger.
Kane and Peter carefully crafted the burgers using only the freshest ingredients handpicked from the Garden of Eden. The meat was juicy, the lettuce and tomatoes were crisp, and the cheese was perfectly melted. Each bite was a heavenly experience that left the knights and princesses speechless.
As they finished their meals, a magical thing happened. The restaurant began to glow, and the air was filled with a sweet aroma. Kane and Peter appeared before the couples, and they were stunned to see the mythical burger gods in front of their eyes.
Kane and Peter were pleased with the couples' enjoyment of their burgers and decided to bless the couples with good luck and fortune. A magical portal appeared, and the couples were transported to a beautiful garden filled with glittering treasures and riches beyond their wildest dreams.
The knights and princesses thanked Kane and Peter for their blessings and returned to their own kingdom, changed forever by the magical experience. They spread the word, and soon, Badass Burgers became the most legendary spot in the kingdom, drawing people from all over the land. The kingdom prospered, and the burger gods continued to bless others with their mouth-watering creations.
From that day on, the knights and princesses never forgot their special night, and whenever they craved the best burgers in the land, they returned to Badass Burgers, knowing that they were blessed by the...
Read moreWent for today's soft opening, and despite it being a day one soft opening, it was still a smooth experience! There were the standard hiccups and things that needed correction - but those things were corrected quickly and efficiently.
The burger itself: I ordered The Warbucks, a double burger with foie gras and truffle manchego cream. To say it was rich is an understatement, but this is not a detriment to the burger as the patty itself was still incredibly flavorful - something that I always look for in a topping heavy sandwich. They do not do modifications for signature burgers (you can make your own as well), but I feel like next time I'll make my own version of this exact same one but with mushrooms on top!
Additional Information: When I arrived, Chef John mentioned that the buns were made fresh and that is 100% a massive selling point. You can taste the difference in these buns, and they had just the right amount of chew all while keeping up with the myriad sauces on my burger.
The Fries: Fried in beef tallow, so keep that in mind. I loved these fries! Great flavor, cooked well, and overall just a good addition to the burger itself. Everything you want fries to be.
In Conclusion: I highly recommend this place. If they can maintain this level of quality then this place will definitely be successful. The location is perfect for a concept restaurant such as this, but ultimately it might feel a little cramped in the long run, especially for lunch rushes.
I will absolutely be making this a normal lunchtime spot and I am excited to see this addition to the Curry...
