Great BBQ with amazing in-house BBQ sauces. Great customer service. We got the pulled pork plate which came with 3 sides and toast, which easily fed 2 people!!! Definitely recommended!

If you're seeking a culinary adventure in Orlando, look no further than Bubbalou's Bodacious Bar-B-Que. With its unassuming exterior and laid-back atmosphere, this hidden gem offers some of the most incredible barbecue dishes I've ever had the pleasure of tasting.
One of the standout dishes at Bubbalou's is their tender, smoky brisket BBQ. The brisket is cooked low and slow, resulting in an unbelievably tender, melt-in-your-mouth experience. The bark on the outside of the meat was packed with flavor and offered a pleasant contrast to the tender meat within. The smoke ring was a thing of beauty, a testament to the skill and patience that goes into crafting this succulent dish.
The pulled pork was equally divine. The pork was cooked to perfection, with a smoky, tender texture that paired flawlessly with their tangy, house-made BBQ sauce. Each bite was an explosion of flavors, with the perfect balance of sweetness, tanginess, and smokiness. This pulled pork will no doubt linger in my memories, as it was truly one of the best I've ever tasted.
What really sets Bubbalou's apart is their dedication to quality and consistency. Each dish is crafted with love and care, ensuring that every bite is as amazing as the last. The portions are generous, leaving you more than satisfied and eager to return for another round of their mouth-watering BBQ offerings.

Read moreThe food and the service is perfection. Stopped by for a late lunch with my family. My toddler got chicken strips (I know, surprise for a toddler) but he actually ate every bite. We also tried the fried pickles and corn nuggets, both were great but the bbq was the best. I asked the Staff which they recommended between ribs and brisket and with the warmest smile she assured me they were both delicious and suggested to try the two meat combo. I’m grateful I listened to her. I genuinely can’t remember the last time I had bbq from a restaurant that was this good. The meat was juicy, well seasoned and the sauces were chef’s kiss. My husband got the 3 pig combo and to say he’s skeptical of FL BBQ (he’s from TX) is an understatement, and even he loved everything he got. He even gave the baked beans a thumbs up (they were really good.) can’t forget to mention the fries, they were hot and crispy. From the apps, to the sides and main dishes, everything was delicious. The food came out quickly. I don’t think we waited even 15 min between the time I ordered before our food was out to the table and the restaurant was busy. (Round of applause to the back of the house.) Every staff member we met was fantastic and friendly, the portions are huge, the food is 10/10, and the prices are fair for what the market is right now. There’s a sign on the door that explains there a small $1-2 variance for some menu items listed price on the paper menu vs prices displayed on their hard stand menu (which I absolutely understand. between quality of food, portion sizes and staff, the prices are a great deal.) Also the Staff member who welcomed us in took the time to explain that too as he handed us the menus. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone. There was nothing that could have made the experience better. Huge thank you to...
Read moreJust okay. I've driven past Bubbalou's many, many times, but a conversation with my chiropractor, not far away, spurred our decision to finally give it a try. My wife and I ordered the special combo which consisted of ribs, 1/4 chicken, sliced beef, and sliced pork. Sides include baked beans, crinkle cut French fries, and coleslaw. The restaurant is set up fast food style, and they give you a number so they can bring your food to the table you choose. The atmosphere of old signs, and taxidermy trophies would be about what I would expect at such a place - no complaints there. The fries were pretty typical, and were used to taste the various BBQ sauces already at the table, along with a mustard. Baked beans weren't too bad, but my wife said the coleslaw tasted a bit old. Ribs had a good flavor, and the meaty portion was delicious, but since it was mostly fat, we felt a little disappointed. Chicken was also flavorful, and juicy. The sliced beef, and pork, however, left a lot to be desired. My wife ate very little of either, and left most of it to me (gee, thanks). I ended up heaping most of the meat onto one of the two large pieces of toast that were also provided, and attempted to drown it in the various sauces before eating. Looking around the restaurant, I was getting the impression that about 90% of the lunch patrons worked in the immediate area, and supposed that a majority of these patrons would still be here if it were a completely different restaurant that was half way decent. Would Bubbalou's be just as bodacious if it were in a different location? Although I wouldn't mind trying their pulled pork, and brisket, I have my doubts...
