Avoid this place especially if you are a tourist!
I don’t know what happened to my previous review so I am posting it again. Went through the drive thru, they charged my card without notifying me that they had no receipt paper therefore there was no proof as to what I was paying for so we went inside to get a receipt printed. We were told drive thru and inside ran on two different systems so they weren’t able to print the receipt, we said that was fine to just refund us on our card and we’ll pay cash at the register inside so we could have a receipt. The manager came out and said he didn’t have the access to give refunds. I don’t know what business operates with a manager that can’t give a refund but that was a huge RED FLAG. Not to mention this location is right next to Universal and a lot of hotels, it makes me wonder if they pull that same scheme on tourists who barely speak English and feel like they can’t do anything about it. The managers solution was to take my phone to the back and take a picture of the screen with our order pulled up...That was another RED FLAG and hardly a solution so I said that wasn’t ok with me. He accused me of being racist because he was black and had dreads, like practically yelled it which just showed me that he was waiting for an excuse to use the race card, not that it’s anyones business but I am black and my black father has dreads. When I point that out to him he told me to get out of “his” restaurant. I called the corporate office and explained the situation, they took my information and told me the store manager would be contacting me. No one ever did which is why I’m giving this establishment a poor review. I don’t know what kind of business you are trying to run. The fact that your night time manager was so unprofessional (seriously what “manager” tries to use the race card towards a customer?), not notifying customers that you are unable to give receipts or refunds until after you charge them (I’m pretty sure that you have to have someone there that can give refunds so either he was lying or they are breaking the rules) and when you do have an issue you completely ignore it and neglect to fix the situation or even find out what happened, those reasons alone should tell you to steer clear of this place. There is a Wendy’s and a Mc Donald’s within walking distance and if you really want Burger King there is one in the Publix plaza...
Read moreI actually did have a good experience and disregard these comments to be honest. Yes they renovated, and my fries were cold but when i told the lady she instantly went ahead and gave me a fresh batch. If your food is cold why cant you go up to associate and ask to remake it? The young lady was really nice to me and made me laugh. Im not the type of customer to get upset over cold food if i just go to her she will remake it with no concern and of course she apologized for it and will do better to improve. You people are forgetting they are making your food not a punching bag and if you honestly dislike the place then leave but i had a great experience and i look forward to getting more great experience from that location. I have worked in fast food and i can tell i know good customer service and having cold food is no excuse to be rude when you can just ask to remake it. If you wanted fresh (which to be honest you should always ask to have your food fresh) dont be rude and for one minute of your spoiled life act like your a human being because just like all of you down in these comments we ARE ALL WORKING VERY HARD so give credit to somebody who is working there and at least being able to service you. God does not like dishonest people and he also does not like people who have to demean others just because of their work preference. I love Burger King and I wouldnt care if they gave me cold food because i always ask for it fresh and i always end up getting it fresh and much more. These workers work very hard and they gave great CUSTOMER SERVICE. So to those of you who have disrespected this location in the above comments please do yourself a favor and actually go back into this store and tell them you want your food fresh in a nice manner and you will see how amazing their service really is. I have gone to that location to many times to say they give bad service when in reality they have done nothing BUT OUTSTANDING SERVICE and to make me laugh when im about to eat is something that makes my day. Work in customer service and appreciate your fellow human beings. God bless these people for working there and showing me what great service is. I thank you so humbly much Burger King on Vineland for your choice in employees and service and I look forward to seeing more of your...
Read moreYou push through the glass doors of this Burger King expecting fluorescent lights, the faint scent of fryer oil, maybe a sticky countertop or two. What you get instead is something else entirely.
The air is clean. The floor gleams. The chrome on the drink station shines like it’s polished nightly by angels. It’s unsettling in the best way—like stumbling into a fast-food chapel. You pause, involuntarily, to take it in. This is a Burger King?
Then you meet Shinnetta.
She’s not just standing at the counter—she’s welcoming you. There’s warmth in her eyes, calm in her voice, and a level of poise that belongs in a dining room with cloth napkins and a sommelier on standby. From the first word, you don’t feel like a customer. You feel like a guest. She treats your order—two Chicken Sandwiches for $5—as if you're choosing a wine pairing. She makes sure the fries are hot, the tray is clean, and that you’re seen. It’s service that humbles you.
By the time you sit down, your world’s tilted just enough to notice it. The sandwich looks just like the menu promised—plump, golden, almost suspiciously perfect. You bite in and it’s good. Better than it has any right to be. The chicken crackles with crispness. The bun holds its dignity. The fries steam in the cool, immaculate dining room air.
Shinnetta checks in like she’s running front-of-house at a steakhouse, not slinging combo meals. And in that moment, this isn’t fast food. It’s a $5 escape into a parallel dimension—where pride meets hospitality, and a Chicken Sandwich can taste like self-respect.
You want a date night idea that’ll blow expectations out of the water? Skip the prix fixe and the valet. Bring someone who matters here. Let Shinnetta show you what service feels like. Let the glow of this bizarrely perfect Burger King wrap around you both like candlelight.
Because elegance, it turns out, sometimes wears a name tag and serves fries hot enough...
