This is a new franchise in the area, and we have been to two other jinya locations in the past (in Texas, and they were both fantastic) Our visit was on opening day, and please when reading this keep that in mind. When we arrived we were greeted by the hostess who was rushed and seemingly a little overwhelmed. My wife felt she wasn’t very courteous. Their bar didn’t have the draft taps working, so we got some bottled beer, the bartenders were friendly and also overwhelmed. The decor of the place was nice, and we’ve got no complaints there. It has the typical polished look of Jinya restaurants rather than some cheap hole in the wall. We were seated in about 30 minutes, and our waiter was friendly, attentive, and very enthusiastic about explaining the menu. We ordered the takoyaki and both got the black tonkatsu ramen. I was dissatisfied with the takoyaki, as after dissecting it we found a couple tiny pieces of octopus. Also it was cold, and was likely sitting out for some time. Presentation was nice, and flavor was ok. Ramen came out within one minute of the takoyaki, and was sloppily put together. After taking a glance at my bowl, I turned around and looked at the kitchen and realized why. The cooks were in disarray and clearly overwhelmed. The noodles had good flavor and consistency. The broth was a touch on the thin side, but I won’t argue too much with that. The chashu was clearly cut by a novice, one piece of pork Was a thick cut, and the second was cut into a thin misshapen triangle. No consistency. The flavor was ok, it was moderately tender and not too fatty. The tamago has good flavor, and was cooked quite well, I enjoyed it. Overall we have this venue a poor rating, however it is solely based on our first impressions of opening day. Mind you, we’ve been eagerly anticipating this opening for over a year, which perhaps skewed our opinion somewhat. I will give this place one or two months, then will revisit again with the hopes that it has solidified it’s operations, as increasing the competition in Orlando’s Japanese/ramen scene is something I anxiously look forward to.

Me and my fiancee were visiting from texas and love the Jinya we frequent so when we saw there was one close by we had to go. The atmosphere was lively and chic, it simultaneously had a romantic and club like vibe. We were instantly greeted at the bar by Juan and Celina, who are some of the best bartenders I’ve had the pleasure to be served by. They both maintained a warm and welcoming vibe the entire time. I am not a fan of Mojito’s but my fiancee is and ordered one. Per tradition, i always take a sip of his drinks and this mojito was not overly minty like im used to, was refreshing, and had the tiniest hint of spice. It was perfect honestly. I ordered one myself and it was of the same quality. We ordered gyoza for our appetizer, our usual and they were made to perfection. Not too crisp, not too soft, just perfect. And the sauce is always the perfect added touch. I get the yuzo shio delight and he gets the tonkatsu black. This broth was so rich and filling, it warmed me up like a long hug from grandma. The server who brought our food recommended we add the srichaha and seasoning sauce, which we’ve never been offered in the austin and san antonio locations. We also ordered a carafe of hot sake and when i tell you it touched my soul!!!! It tasted so fresh with a touch of burn, a “hurt so good” as some may say. Juan talked with us about texas and food recommendations! Juan, if you’re reading this don’t forget to try Cris and John in dallas!

We mentioned to both Celina and Juan this is the best jinya we’ve been to as we’ve been to the dallas, austin, and san antonio locations. They were both shocked as they said there is a texas location that always wins best ramen for jinya. Well the person rating obviously must be paid under the table because there’s no way those locations even touch this one. Granted, I will say the Texas locations are a close second, but there’s something different about the broth here, the pork, hell even the mushrooms and bok choy! Everything tastes more fresh and different. If you don’t know what I mean, just go hug your grandma and get some cookies from her and you’ll know exactly what I’m saying.

When i tell you these ramens hit the nail on the head in regards to flavor, if im lying im frying! We even went back again the next day before our flight. A part of me thought “there’s no way they’re gonna hit the nail on the head 2 days in a row” but they proved me wrong!!!

Thank you so much to Juan and Celina for making this a great experience for us. And the hostess who allowed us to leave our luggage at the front so we could enjoy one more meal. If you live in Orlando and haven’t tried this jinya, you gotta stop what you’re doing and make your way over there. You...

While being on a work trip in Orlando, we decided to look for dinner places in Downtown Orlando as we didn't want anything around the theme park area.

Looking through Yelp we found this place! As one of our family guests is Vegan we loved the fact that this place had a specific Vegan menu; so it was perfect!

We decided to do take out! It simply blew us away! If their take out blows us away then most of the competitions in-dining ramen; they're doing something right! When you thought Florida didn't have amazing ramen, this place was the best one l've tried so far plus they have a Vegan menu!

We ordered various different ones. Our choices were :

• Flying Vegan Harvest (amazing! Amazing! amazing! Broth full of flavor. Good spice kick!) added Bok Choy • Jinya Tonkotsu Black (broth was amazing, noodles were super fresh & the egg was perfectly cooked! Another masterpiece of flavor) added Bok Choy, Corn & Mushrooms • 2 Slurp Up Cilantro with extra Lime (very little amount of Chicken but overall delicious) • Tonkotsu Spicy (the perfect balance of spicy! Asked for extra Spicy Sauce and they delivered with tons!) • Spicy Creamy Vegan Ramen (Perfect consistency that wasn't too thick or watery. Delicious and must try if you're looking for a Vegan option) • Brussel Sprout Tempura (for being take out, it was so yummy and the crunchiness was there after driving 30 mins to get back to our Airbnb) • Vegan Bun (delicious and full of flavors!) • Takoyaki - Octopus Ball (reminded of something similar I had tried in the streets of Osaka, so good! Highly recommended!) • Seaweed Salad (if you're visiting a Japanese Restaurant and not trying their seaweed salad, what are you even thinking?!?)

Overall food was amazing but wish their protein portions were a bit bigger! Best part of all their Ramen was their perfectly al dente noodles!

Definitely one of the best ramen places in Florida!

Highly recommended if you're visiting...
