Those that follow Me know I love venezeulian food. It's hard to rank then over one another because it's all good, but I have learned the slight variations depending on what part of venezuelia the food comes from. Maracaibo mia is the unique flavor from their city and although slight, I can now see why my wife says certain dishes taste better from her city. The food was amazing. Tequinos were some of the best I've ever had, the patacone was the best I've ever had but there is something so unique to just this city called aquita de sapo. It's a very generous portion of seasoned pulled pork with a hashbrown looking bit of fried cheese and basically like the areapa white corn shell. The sapo water is actually the juice from the pork that you pour over the dish to counter the dryness and give a little more flavor. This is now my favorite dish. I recommend it. My only Americanized take would be to add some bbq sauce and it would be a dish for the heavens. The atmosphere was pretty original, great people and plenty of imagery of maracaibo to look at. The car outside is a pretty great conversation piece. If you've ever been to South America you understand, if not, it's pretty interesting to hear about these cars and why they all look like rusted heeps lol. Overall great place to visit If your in the area. It's a bit out of the way feom say downtown Orlando but worth it if you like venezuelian food. We bought about 200 dollars worth and took it back with us on our drive to Clearwater Beach and ate on it for 2.5 days. I think it was even better the next day infact. Additionally you can purchase drinks, snacks, candy and creamed ice uniquie to venezuelia and they are all tastey as well. I will return anytime I'm in the Orlando area.

Maracaibo is a western Venezuelsn City famous for the oil industry and mayors refineries in South America. They have a singular >cuisine with original plates. In this place, you can get different marabino plates with the latin food taste but different flavors mixing plantains cheese and meeting casual meals like the "Yoyo", the rich "Tostada" a fried corn pastries filled with shedered meat , cheese, onions or main dishes like a "Chivito in Coco", Oat meat in a delicius bbq sauce, with a coconut milk flavor. Ask for the menu and ask for advice for your selection. The cashier atender will help you, I'm sure you will not be disappointed, Today I asked for a shedred meat Yoyo, it was big and delicious. also get Tequeños, with wacamole and a cheese "Cachapa". Everything was excellent. The atmosphere is casual like a fast food rest, but the attention was good. Don't miss the opportunity to visit this restaurant we're you find a diferent latin food from a diferent people; Los Maracuchos.

We used to LOVE eating here everytime we visited it was amazing!! However this evening we went and must say its very different now. we ordered at yhe coumyer and the food came out at separate time for each one of the four of us and my husband was incorrect. when explained to the served/vashier that it was not what we had ordered she said yes it was. I shook it off and just asked to have it changed because was we order was a full plate what she brought was a tiny appetizer. The plate she charged us for was $22 and the one we wanted was $15 she informed me. I said ok expecting for her to gibe the $7 back simve all orders are paid first here. she didn't she served rhe food and that was that. its not about yhe $7 over chathe or the not being able to eat together on our first night on vacation. It was the fact that one of our favorite spots ever was now not. we wont be back. we drove an hour there and now driving an hour back to dorset ,FL thats how much we usted to love it .

They just opened a location by Hunters Creek. I just went with my family of 4. Sat down took a while to get a server. We placed and order from the lunch options. Something simple chicken and beef, and HiC to drink. The beverage came 15 minutes later. The server then told us there is no HiC. Ok we asked for water with lemon. The server instead of bringing water in a glass like in any other restaurant, showed up with 4 bottles of water. I am like ? Why? Then I said never mind. 20 minutes later I asked the server how about or food, by now we have been there 35 minutes. She said it will be here in 10 minutes. Then she came back 15 minutes later, to tell us that the order we placed they could not make it because they ran out of food??? Are you serious? I will never in my life will ever go back to this crappy restaurant. It took them 50 minutes to come back and tell us that there is no food? Never in my life had such a poor experience. This place will go downhill and fast. There is absolutely zero customer service there. What were they expecting that we would place another order? So they can take another hour. Terrible experience I would not recommend this place at all.

So this is bitter sweet cause the food is amazing, we fell in love with the place at first. We went there TWICE the same day. breakfast and dinner.

Breakfast was to try their empanadas which they were really good, however management sucked and I say management because the waiter was awesome but management was a chaos, they were short of empanadas they would say to the waiter that empanadas would come up around 10 min and it took 40 minutes, when we got our order they messed it up.

We ended up eating what we got anyway cause again is Venezuelan food and we love it.

So we let it pass and decided to try again at night for dinner, which it was a horrible horrible experience.

We got there and again the waiter was really nice as always we ordered our dishes and it had been almost an hour since we ordered our food and I lost my appetite, I went to the manager and told her that I wasn't hungry anymore and to cancel my order but still bring my wife's.

Manager refused and out the blue she brought our food and it was cold and my food was packed into a to-go container and she said to me with a very rude attitude "since you are not hungry I made yours to go"

She was plain rude and didn't care at all, I told her that I didn't want the food cause it was cold and they took too much and she said "you can reheat it at home Im still going to charge you"

We paid and we left then we voiced our complain on their Instagram account and they deleted it FOUR TIMES.

We felt that the manager was more concerned on winning a fight/argument that actually making it right for us.

She could have handled this situation with a different approach and this would have been a different story.

It is a shame cause they run the business like they are in Venezuela. Hopefully they can make improvements and manage the place better.

As for me and my Friends we won't go there anymore there are other places with similar food quality where they treat you like a...
