Made an order ahead of time for my lunch break. I get there and everyone one in the kitchen is doing something but looked at me and ignored me for a few minutes. you could tell they were teen boys. I asked if my fries were done the first guy said no I asked if he can add Cajun seasoning instead of salt he said yes and went to tell the guy at the fry station. (Nobody had a name tag so I do not know they’re names but he was an AA teen with dreads) he then starts mumbling under his breath no that it should’ve been on the receipt and how he was tired of people and how people have him fed up and he just kept going. I didn’t say anything to him then. He came and aggressively called out 3 orders before mine and finally when he does basically slams it on the counter. I then snatch the bag and he starts saying don’t snatch from me I tell him maybe if he had a better attitude I wouldn’t snatch from him and continue to tell him about himself while the manager tries to calm him down. I walk out the store and my boyfriend went right in after me but him and the manager was gone. The manager seems nice. I’m so sorry to him and the rest of the employees who have to deal with someone like him.
Side note: i worked fast food for 6 years before, including five guys, granted I know something’s customers ask are annoying, but please tell me what the difference between grabbing the salt shaker and the Cajun...
Read moreThis particular 5 Guys wasn't very busy so no wait to order. In general, their burgers are large, are cooked when you order and served right after cooking.
The prices here are not cheap. You do, however, get a lot of food. The regular hamburger/cheeseburger is actually a double and the patties are pretty big too. They have lots of toppings to choose from that are no additional cost. Now let's chat fries. This might be the only place that not only fills their containers fully but also go above and beyond by placing another "scoop" of fries on top once inside the bag. It's like getting a double order. I always just order the "little" size, it's way more than enough.
The food was cooked well and served hot and was tasty. It did take 10 minutes though. Again, not busy so not sure why it takes so long to make a cheeseburger. The wait was not too bad as you can help yourself to peanuts while you are waiting.
Another fast food chain that's thinks it should ask for a tip. Not sure why this is happening at places that don't serve. Why would I tip ahead of getting my food and when there is no server?
If you want a lot of food, a lot of calories at a high price, do go. Or if you just like a lot of fries 🍟, this place...
Read moreAs a long-time fan of Five Guys, my family has enjoyed many visits to different locations across the country. Unfortunately, our experience at this particular location was not up to the standard we’ve come to expect from the brand.
During our first visit, the fries were not crispy and were oddly shaped. When I brought it to the staff’s attention, I was surprised by the reluctance to resolve the issue. Despite not having touched the food, I had to explain the problem twice to two employees before they agreed to replace the fries. They did eventually replace it after explaining that there was an issue with their fry cutting machine, but the customer service felt lacking.
On our second visit, everything was fine, but on the third visit, we encountered another issue – the restaurant opened late due to technical difficulties, and we had to wait for a while for the food to be prepared.
While I appreciate that things can go wrong, the inconsistency and the lack of smooth resolution left us disappointed. Unfortunately, given these repeated issues, we will likely try another...
