On August 1 we came in to the store at 3:35 PM to try to order food , upon walking in the door there was no rice and it was a lot of empty dishes in the restaurant. I asked if I could get rice Gentleman said it would take 10 minutes cause they had to make the rice. I took photos of almost the whole line of food was almost all empty and it look all old like it was there for several hours without being freshened. So I called the restaurant and asked to speak To a manager and I was passed on to a gentleman named Johnathon who was outside pressure washing stated he was the person in charge due to the manager not being there. I asked the Johnathon why was he not inside helping the staff cook food when the line was really almost empty to where you couldn’t order anything. I asked the gentleman that was at the front taking our order why were you guys open if you guys didn’t even have food to choose from. Gentlemen walked away and made a comment to the girl that was up at the front as well. Jonathan stated that the manager was pulling in and I was outside still waiting while my wife was eating her food. I pulled up and approached Mark and advised him that the gentleman outside pressure washing that he should’ve been inside helping with the with customers and making sure food is prepped for your customers. Jonathan stated that he was only there to do pressure washing and he was not to be inside cooking. Mark stated he would give us fresh food but at that point in time I did not want to wait I would like to speak to someone above Mark. As that being said my wife’s food is she purchased was the Beijing beef and didn’t even get the full scoop of food that we should’ve been paying for. There were several customers that came in before us that were waiting for food God only knows how long they were waiting and I live with a family of five as we were leaving that went into the store and walked out because they had no food I’m sure you guys have cameras in the property if you like you should review the cameras and see the customers who are standing around waiting for their food and the customers that were walking out. I understand we’re in a pandemic with the coved 19. But I do feel that in a place of business with people standing around waiting for food is an issue and also not having a manager there and a gentleman being outside pressure washing and not helping the other staff that’s what...
Read moreYesterday I stopped in to Panda Express and got some food, then sat down at a table. After a few minutes of watching the staff goofing off behind the counter, a woman was waiting to put in an order, while three employees were talking about social life stuff. I watched the cooks put new food on top of old food in the display, so it begs the question how old is the food at the bottom? Another person came out of the back and said, "The health department just walked into dunkin doughnuts next door and we may be next. So every one behind the counter started opening cabinets in a panic, 'Where are the gloves?" ... 'Where are the hairnets?" ... "Do we need a face mask?" ... "Someone have a hat I can borrow, left mine at home?" ... A cook with a beard said to the other cook, "I need one of those things for my beard but we are out for a long time, Oh well" ... "Oh, This floor is gross, lets mop it." and three people started wiping down the food display, another frantically grabbed new spoons and replaced all the spoons with new one in the food display. Another wiped down the counter where soda fountain is.
So it begs the question, they knew what to do without being told, but choose joking around instead of doing their job. Where was the manager and why did they allow them to let it fall behind? Have time to lean, you have...
Read moreThe Panda Express in Lake Nona the food is always great. The servers that I have been helped by was very friendly and smiling. But on this particular visit on March 1st, again the food was good , the service was lousy. The server per my receipt, was L B. Not putting full name but resturant should know who I am talking about. She was NOT friendly at all. I go in there all the time. She reminded me of someone who was unhappy to have a job. When she was putting the rice in my take out after 2 spoonfuls I said that's plenty, she said you get more. I said I know that but That's enough. I like all the younger workers there always so friendly. I cannot stand to go into a retail establishment where I am giving you my money and they have no pleasant personality. At least smile and take a few tips from Chic Fil, where they have the best customer service etiquette. I asked for Plum sauce she only put 2 in my bag. I like so 2 is not going to do the job. I asked the other girl at register can I please have more plum sauce. She said here you go and I said Thank you. Smile be glad...
