We ordered 3 burgers with some shakes and paid $50 including a tip. My son’s burger was pink. It was not fully cooked. My husband took the burger to the counter. At that time, the lady asked him if we asked for it well done. My husband said to her that the burger was raw. Which it was completely pink. When the cook was told, she rolled her eyes and said with a lot of attitude “well he didn’t ask for it well done”. There is no need for all the attitude especially when we paid $50 something dollars for 3 burgers. Mind you we ordered 3 burgers and my husband’s and mine were done medium well but our son’s was completely pink. Plus we were never asked by the cashier how we wanted the burgers. Most places that sell burgers such as ButgerFi , Culver’s, and many others never ask how you want it cooked. They all just cook it well done. So if Shake Shack doesn’t automatically cook their burgers well done, they should perhaps ask the customers how they want their burgers. Instead of randomly cooking some well done and others raw expecting people to just eat them. Avoid this place if you don’t want to pay a lot of money for some mediocre burgers and you don’t want to be given a whole lot of attitude when you just ask for someone to correct a mistake. It’s evident why this place was empty. The bathroom was also dirty and we had to clean our own table because it was dirty. Even though they didn’t have any other customers eating their at that time. (I should’ve left when I saw how dirty that place was to avoid the terrible experience)The manager refunded us for the one burger but he didn’t even seem to care about the customers concerns. Avoid...
Read moreWent in on. Saturday after about 1:30. The mall was super crowded and there was a line to order at the kiosks. While waiting we looked at the menu on the wall above the kiosks and I spotted something that looked delicious, the Black Truffle hamburger. Burger, truffle sauce, Gruyère cheese, onion straws, and truffles. Yum!
Because it was so crowded, I left my husband to order and I went to secure a table. There were no CLEAN tables open, but a couple with the previous diner’s food left for “someone” else to clean up. I stood around until a table opened up where the patrons bussed their table….
Husband sat down and about 5 minutes later a solemn young man arrived with our food, set it down, took our table number, and walked away- without a word.
I looked at the rimmed baking 1/4 sheet and the first observation was that nothing on the tray looked like the pictures on the menu. My husband had gone to get ketchup and when he got back, he said the exact same thing- I laughed!!!
Both burgers, my Black Truffle and his Smoke shack burger were good, meat cooked well, appropriate toppings, good temperature (his had some cold cherry pepper relish type things- nice temperature difference). Fries were okay, nothing special, nothing bad. Drinks were good- free refills on tea and fountain drinks- that was nice.
Overall a decent $35 dollar 2 burger, 2 drinks, and...
Read moreI have to share an incredible experience with top-notch customer service and a manager who truly goes above and beyond. My son, a UCF student, ate at Shake Shack over the weekend and unfortunately lost his wallet. After searching the restaurant with no luck, he assumed the worst—that it had been stolen.
Fast forward to today, and my husband gets an unexpected call from an Orlando number. It’s Jamie, the manager at Shake Shack. While cleaning earlier in the week, they had found the wallet and placed it in the safe. But Jamie didn’t stop there—he took the initiative to search for the owner online, knowing someone had to be missing it. Thankfully, since my husband and son share the same name, he was able to track us down.
What makes this even more special? Inside the wallet was my son’s late grandfather’s sheriff’s badge—something truly irreplaceable. We had lost hope of ever seeing it again. But thanks to Jamie’s kindness and effort, it’s back where it belongs.
Thank you, Jamie and Shake Shack, for your honesty, dedication, and for going the extra mile. This kind of customer service is rare, and we are...
