It truly disheartens me to write this review. On arrival, we were greeted with warmth and great interaction. We were seated and met our server Emely. I let her know upfront I had not dined in 2 years since my last experience wasn't great, and ironically it was at the same table. She was great, took on the challenge to make things great. She was setup for failure. The wheels fell off completely. The wood wall behind us was covered in dust. The ceiling vents above us were covered in dirt, not dust. Balloons left over from someone's party still floating around. We ordered iced tea, our first drinks tasted old (like it had been sitting all day). Then the tea brewer broke, and we couldn't get more. I asked for a Coke Zero, they were out of syrup for it - so a Diet Coke it was. The salads reminded me of something we'd fix at home, not a nice restaurant (but the bacon is amazing!). Two of my guests ordered filets, both medium push, I ordered the bone-in strip, medium. Well, one filet was over, the other under, and mine, which should have been the least done, was well done. Yes, I know, dry-aged steaks are often appear differently when cooked, but it was definitely well done. Not wasting food, I wasn't going to send it back. That was my mistake, as this steak wasn't trimmed well at all and a strip steak is a favorite of mine (over a filet). We were offered the manager, but if the kitchen can't get 3 steaks right, I don't think a second try is going to be different. Sam's Mashed Potatoes and the Creamed Spinach were both great though. I'm not a mashed potato person, but these rocked. Onward to desert, I knew it wasn't really going to be a desert, more of a tease (3 bites). We each had the chocolate cake, and each had a different consistency. One was as expected, the other two dry and undesired. I know it's Magical Dining, but 3 bites isn't a desert. On the way out, a stop to the restrooms, to find the ladies room was out of order, referring guests to the family restroom. This is a fairly new location, so to find it in such a state on all accounts, is shocking. Even the outside sign was missing a letter light. I've had great experiences here since it opened, but after this, it has to be off my list forever. Sorry.

I had an 8:15pm reservation on 2/1/25. The front hostess had an attitude and was very short with us. When we sat down to eat Jose the server assistant was super sweet and filled our glasses. Our main server was barely there at all. I had to remind my server 30 minutes into being sat for the lemonade I originally asked for. And because I drank it so fast, I thought my server would refill it, but he never did throughout the entire dinner. I ordered onion soup, and my partner ordered Cesar salad. I received my onion soup first and waited an extra 15 minutes for my partner’s Caesar salad to arrive so we could eat together. As for our entrées, I ordered the filet mignon 10 ounce steak well done and was only able to eat 75% of it because the rest was pink in the middle. The mashed potatoes were the best part of the entire meal because they had the most flavor. We also had a side of asparagus, and although it had great flavor, also the tips of the asparagus were so burnt that it tasted like charcoal. My partner ordered a medium rare. Bone in ribeye steak and it came out more on the rare side. Because we did not eat two hours prior we were so hungry and tired of waiting that we just ate it. That was the biggest mistake I could make, because now myself and my partner have food poisoning. I will never eat at this establishment again, the entire meal was $262 including tip, and I will never spend money here again. It was definitely not worth it! UPDATE: I reached out to the restaurant and spoke with Gary. He treated me with the upmost respect, and was very generous with refunding the full amount back to us(refund received). He also took down my address to send a gift card to come back and give them a second chance. I do believe in second chances, so I will update once this actually goes through. We received the gift card they have given to try again.

While shopping at The Mall of Millenia, we decided to grab a bite and we were actually going to go grab a bite at Earl's but it was crowded. We decided to give capital grille a try and OMG did we make the best decision ever. The ambience inside is fine dining for sure, clean, and very nicely decorated. Very upscale for sure. Aj and Raymond the server assistant were amazing from the moment we sat down. Raymond came over and asked us right away if we wanted some water, bought us some bread with butter as well. Al came by and introduced himself and right away provided us with information on the best drinks and what is popular. We ordered the Passion Fruit Mojito and Blackberry Bourbon Sidecar except instead of Bourbon Aj advised he drinks it with Hennessy which was interesting so of course we had to try it. For food we ordered from the plates 26 section which you can order soup, salad and your entree. I ordered the Caesar salad and my husband ordered a soup that AJ recommended which I forgot the name and didn't write it down. Al has been one of the best server l've ever had, he even provided us with a Complimentary sauce - shalot butter to try with the rest of the bread we had left. The Seared Salmon with Heirloom Tomatoes, White Wine Butter and Lemon Basil Mosto was to die for it was enough, the taste of the lemon was perfect so tasty and savory. I definitely wanted seconds, my husband ordered the Mini Tenderloin Sandwiches which was very juice, very fresh, he wished it had a little little bit of more seasoning. All in all the food was delicious! I have O complains with the food and service. Finally, I have to thank Al for his amazing service and quality of care for the people he is serving. At the end he bought out a Complimentary Desert - cheesecake & flower less espresso chocolate cake.

I had the worst experience I've ever had at any Capital Grille yesterday evening on my Birthday. I been going to Capitl Grille for almost 10 years now in NYC and CT where I am from for the food and experience and most of all service. My waiters are always nice and attentive and provide a certian kind of service that keeps me coming back. Yesterday evening from the very time i was seated, I felt as if I was eating at a cheap chain restaurant.  It was as if the waiter assumed that I am not used to good treatment or do not know what good treatment is but boy is she wrong.  I have dined at the finest restaurants in New York City, in Florida and all around the world internationally. What happened with me and my young toddler son yesterday was unacceptable. I waited forever for my glass of wine. I was indecisive and I noticed that she didn't even offer to do a taste test for me so I can pick the best wine that suits my palate. She stayed away from my table for more than 25 minutes at a time. Many times I had to turn around to look for look for or think about where she was because I needed something. It was only me and my son I got there at 7:45pm and left after 10 PM for no reason other than my waiter was not attentive. When she spoke to me about the menu she kept on mentioning price as if I couldn't afford anything.  I saw how she was much more attentive to other tables and how they receive their drinks a lot faster than me . When I was done eating I waited another at least 25 to 30 minutes for her to pick up my food and ask if I wanted to take it home. By that time the customer started started to have chest pains. That was already about 10 PM and and after that I hardly seen her. I had to call another waiter over to give me my bill and also told him that it is my birthday and I thought I was going to at least receive a cake.. That's when he brought out a cake for me and said Happy Birthday and gave me my bill all this time my waiter was 2 feet away from me  And acted like she didn't see. I was treated horribly at this restaurant and I believe it was because I am a African Caribbean woman Who was prejudged on on my knowledge of fine dining. I wish I went to the other location a bit I would have had a better experience on my 40th birthday. But this restaurant totally ruined my dinner experience.  That waiter needs to be retrained. She is awful. Maybe they should have a standard for the people...

The Capital Grille at the Millenia Mall in Orlando is an absolute gem! I recently had the pleasure of dining there, and it was a truly exceptional experience from start to finish.

First and foremost, the ambiance is exquisite. The restaurant exudes an air of sophistication and elegance without feeling stuffy. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with warmth and professionalism by the attentive staff, creating a welcoming and upscale atmosphere.

Now, let's talk about the food. The Capital Grille delivers nothing short of culinary perfection. The menu offers a tantalizing array of choices, and each dish is prepared with precision and care. The steaks are the stars of the show, and they are cooked to absolute perfection. The dry-aged cuts are incredibly flavorful and tender, and the accompaniments complement them beautifully. The lobster bisque is a must-try, and the seafood options are equally delightful. The dessert selection is the perfect sweet ending to a fantastic meal.

What truly sets The Capital Grille apart is its impeccable service. The staff is knowledgeable about the menu and wine pairings, and they are more than happy to offer recommendations to enhance your dining experience. They pay attention to every detail, ensuring that your water glass is always full, and your needs are met promptly and discreetly.

The wine list is extensive and well-curated, offering an excellent selection to complement your meal. The sommeliers are skilled in helping you choose the perfect wine to elevate your dining experience.

Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or just looking for an outstanding meal, The Capital Grille at the Millenia Mall is the perfect choice. The attention to detail, world-class cuisine, and exceptional service make it a five-star dining destination that I wholeheartedly recommend. It's an experience that will leave you with lasting memories and a desire to return...
